i5 9600k Stock vs Overclock (OC) 12 Games Tested

hello anyone got this cpu to 5.1ghz? mine crashes after 5ghz..running 5ghz all cores @50-60 celsius..

I have an i5-9600k + Aorus Elite Z390 motherboard + 2 8GB modules Cousair DDR4 3000 MHZ + Galaxy Nvidia GTX 1660 Super + Cousair 620 Modular power supply all cooled by the H100i 240 mm Cousair with Push and Pull + Matrexx 70 cabinet and the max I managed to do was leave the CPU at 1,415 volts @ 5.0 mhz on all cores and leave the memories at @ 3400mhz @ 1.35 volts.
This configuration was to run the Call of Duty Warzone, so even on hot days I have to leave 1,425 Volts and with O LLC on Ultra Extreme.

I just experimented OC-ing mine from 4.3 to 4.6 and to 5.0. 5.0GHz was stable at 1.38V but all I gained was about 5 fps in Destiny 2 so I stepped back. 1.25V on 4.6GHz will do just fine.
I was using it on stock settings, but undervolted to 1.1v. I'll try and see how 4.6GHz does for me.

Hey dude, is it normal that I overclocked my processor to 5.2 GHz and the voltage is 1.270 ? or I should go up to my voltage? my max temp is 68 under 100%, in the games about 50-55 and i would like to know how to make resting speed for my processor? bc i don't want that it works at max speed during idle ?

overclocking that cpu solved my issue with some games. With 4,7ghz I now get stable 60fps in AC Origins for example.

My 9600kf 5.0ghz 1.39v default .force setting 1.335v will bluescreen ,my cpu is made in Vietnam

Overall, the fps gain seems pretty minimal in comparison to the extra strain on the CPU, and the necessary cooling to keep your CPU nice and cool.
Idk, I think I'll stick with the stock settings. averaging well above 60 FPS on most games anyway. (using a 60hz 1080p monitor, wouldn't matter if I did get above 60 :P)

Stock you're at 4295 ghz, but im at 4617 ghz, I've got the i5 9600kf but that shouldnt be different in clock speeds.

So I OC'd my i5 9600k which i bought prebuilt paired with a 1080 for 900 bucks last night. After reading your comments here. Nothing crazy, 4.77-4.8ish when gaming, and the performance increase paired with my 1080 (no ti) is significant. Warzone for example runs about 45fps ish higher on average sir. I recommend everyone OC their CPU because why TF not? i have a z390 mobo and hadnt done any CPU oc'ing before and it took me about 15minutes
