Pause the video if ur gonna talk bro
ОтветитьI don't mod but have aery's ar0 practice maps he modded
ОтветитьLazer is great, it runs on Linux. That's all I needed
ОтветитьI like seeing number going up
ОтветитьI was here fr 💪
Ответитьgod forbid i become 30 and i see thousands of 1k scores
Ответитьwhy is he on Neurosama's account
ОтветитьI moved to lazer since last year, and yeah: the mods and its variants are so cool. Be able to personalize DT speed, classic mechanics are game changing (in a way it's fully integrated to the game ands scores)
Highly recommended.
Why is Ed Neurosama?
ОтветитьI can't wait to map on the train with my phone
ОтветитьBee tee em see
ОтветитьThe only issue I personally have with lazer is the performance, it runs at around 50 fps (sometimes the game would straight up freeze for a whole second) whilst on stable it runs at above 500 fps (while also stuttering sometimes which is also pretty annoying).
ОтветитьBTMC highlights? Never heard of it
ОтветитьImo the UI looks dogshit, but the actual client and the features it's going for seem fantastic so far, I'll probably switch eventually
ОтветитьThis video made me realize people don't give ppy nearly enough credit for his patience with the osu community, great video
Ответитьyo the channel is come back to live
ОтветитьI wish Ubisoft was like Peppy 😔
Ответитьcant wait for the 2030s when all the top players born in the 2010s getting their 3000pp plays
Ответитьi wish more people just tried actually playing lazer for a while, its just better AND it will make you better at the game in the way you enjoy
i wish people werent little bitches complaining about every little detail
I have already seen the original video but I watched this to give watch time and see Ed reactions to things
ОтветитьIs osu! Stable gonna be gone completely and is Lazer replacing it? Or is Lazer just another version/gamw you can also play
Ответитьi feel that this single lazer video was really necessary
Ответитьdid someone else realise that Ed is on Neuro Sama's yt account?
Ответитьi cant install Lazer, thats the reason xd
+
No way Ed actually remembered that this channel existed??
ОтветитьFirst upload in 7 months lets go
Ответитьso glad that ppy and pishi are promoting the act of going outside
Ответитьbro sat there for 2m 30s without saying a word
Ответитьi like how the actual same engine is available on ios products like phones
ОтветитьI actually only play lazer now
Ответитьas a osu!droid player, i think osu!lazer it's actually pretty good(except for the incredibly low fps), you can be more connected with pc users, play with them, map, skin, etc.
the only issues are the low fps and maybe that the circles are a bit small
btw bro think he neuro-sama
Another change I'd like to see is more specific to mapping, make ranking a map 10x easier.
Was my first map worse than my newer mapping? Absolutely.
Is my desire to rank a map in any way improving my mapping, no.
I've improved my mapping by mapping more and for fun.
The issue is when you look on the website no where does it say "A BN should outright ignore your map because they "don't like the genre" or think a couple things could be better in your map".
Instead what it says is to follow the mapping rules and that it's good enough. Which... it should be?
Is every note on time, representing a rhythm in the song? Yes? Rank it.
I can see arguments against those really dumb screen jump maps, where the notes ARE on time, but the flow and general rhythm isn't there. "shitmaps" if you will should be under scrutiny.
But I think an amazing example is louder than steel by parkour wizard. As a map, it's bland, it's uneventful, nothing changes and the kiai's go around in circles... But if it had more difficulties, it should instantly be ranked, why? IT breaks no rules or regulations.
Yet we're now in an elitist Beatmap Nominator mindset where everything must be heavily modded, changed and scrutinised before even being considered to be LOOKED AT.
It should steer towards "Is it rankable? Yes. Does it follow consistent or semi consistent techniques? Yes. Rank it.".
This'd fix so many of the issues in the mapping community where I've known so many people who gave up because it took over a year to even get 1 nomination.
I've messaged every single BN who's open, used their sheet forms if that's their preferred method, and only 1 replied giving me something to work on, which I will, but even that is such a minor detail (slider shape inconsistency).
I get wanting mappers to reach a point of independence where their map is so consistent and highly rated that a person don't have much criticism. But it doesn't exist.
As a person, I love pishifat. But damn are his maps 50/50 for me. I forgot the name of it but there's an alternating song he mapped that's really fun.
On the flip side, 115 (COD) was mapped HORRENDOUSLY in my opinion. Should it still be ranked? Yup. But I don't like it, and that's fine.
IF I ever end up on the bn you bet I'm throwing through a ton of nominations that are rankable even if there's TINY issues.
We need to make it the BN's job to NOMINATE RANKABLE MAPS. Not, to be elitists who say "no I won't nominate it because I don't like the genre".
Years ago I actually went for ranked and a guy said he loved the map, but hated the genre and didn't want to put more songs like it into the game. (It was a helblinde drum and bass-y kinda song).
One of the biggest changes I feel needs to happen is to remove combo from the pp algorithm entirely (kinda like the other modes in a sense).
If I miss an easy note in the middle of a song, and SS the ENTIRE map other than that 1 note, on say a 410 pp SS map, why is it worth 180pp?
Combo is already far more weighted for score in score v2 and DRASTICALLY in score v1.
I've seen really dumb arguments that it's force people to make bad habits and bla bla bla, that's an outright lie, the opposite is true.
Right now most people will take a 96% accuracy fc over a 1 miss 99.9% play.
By making accuracy 100% of pp calculation, you essentially force people to exclusively aim for accuracy improvement, which by extension will make people more likely to aim for fc's.
I remember like 6 years ago, I would get nervous on an fc and intentionally overstream by like 3 bpm to make sure I hit that 1 stream in the song before the end since tanking that 1 or 2% acc, was worth the fc, vs risking it normally. Now I'm capable of SS'ing those maps sure, but it's cause I chose to work on acc.
I just feel by focusing pp entirely on accuracy, you'll make people care more about "clicking the circles to the beat", vs "I must hit every single note regardless of acc or the pp is just GONE".
Anyone who opposes this: In score v2 70% is combo, 30% acc.
At the BARE MINIMUM reverse it for pp? 70% acc, 30% combo?
The only people I've seen disagree with this take tend to rank in the 6 digits or low 5 digits, you're entitled to your own views, but going against legitimately good changes is stupid.
phisifat?
Ответитьi loved this video, didn't expect him to react to it
ОтветитьCAUSE IT"S FREEZING ASS
ОтветитьAyy
ОтветитьI just tried OSU lazer, and i just fc'ed the song i cant FC in the old osu
Ответитьi remember the days when osu!(stable) was the thing everyone played
Ответитьwhy is he on neuros channel tho? He didn't answer
ОтветитьThe maps are more forgiving which feels bad when you pass a map you've been trying to pass for a long time with a shit score
Ответитьwhat happened eds overlay
ОтветитьB
ОтветитьGyze, he uploaded!
ОтветитьLets GOOO channel revived once again
Ответитьsomehow ed only has two tabs open instead of 257 million
