Please note, once and for all: foie gras is NOT A PATE! It's the entire goose of duck liver whilst a pâté is a MIXTURE of various ingredients.
ОтветитьI love the video, but take exception to the apologia for foie gras. It's a barbaric practice and their dismissal of animal welfare concerns is condescending (especially considering that most foie gras is industrially produced).
ОтветитьUnless Rick is feigning for the camera, it is odd how scant his foreign language knowledge skills are. I am self taught in French, Italian, and Spanish so I would not look like a fool in those countries. Languages do come relatively easy to me, but Rick seems exceedingly vapid with european languages. And yet, this is his profession. Even his "bonjour" at the beginning is cringy. Take some lessons, check out some podcasts or read a book, dude.
ОтветитьFrance and its beauty....but it's not Appalachia, well Pennsylvania and South there of....New York and the northeast are really Canada, or any other anti America region
ОтветитьI have wanted to make this canoe trip forever ❤
ОтветитьRick, your writing is excellent and your choice of sites is unbeatable. History doesn't get much darker than Europe's. Seeing all those medieval castles fought over for centuries and now empty, seems like such a waste.
ОтветитьThe cave at Lascaux is incredible: I have seen an earlier video about it and had assumed that what was shown was the replica, as this video confirms.
ОтветитьPre political correctness and before this country went crazy
ОтветитьI did not know at all, these were on here, jeez....
ОтветитьJ'adore la Dordogne. Il n'y a pas d'autre endroit au monde aussi beau que cette merveilleuse région.
ОтветитьWhat a boring, old fashioned video...
ОтветитьIf force-feeding geese makes you angry, say goosefraba!
ОтветитьDor-don-yae, not Dor-dohn.
ОтветитьCute amelie type music
ОтветитьI love this dude
ОтветитьGood show.🆒👋🍓
ОтветитьUmmm... Texas is actually bigger than France...
ОтветитьI wish Steve Smith's name was Steve Ricks
ОтветитьTruffles are not mushrooms
ОтветитьThere’s only one “race”. Rick Steves makes a point of enjoying differences in countries whilst at the same time highlighting the commonalities of the human race. His visit to Iran, Israel, Gaza and Germany achieve this in a way I am extremely grateful for.
ОтветитьBeautiful region but I disagree with the explanation about foie gras. I care about animal suffering so I do not buy or eat!
ОтветитьPlease, please, please, pretty please, Rick, don't call for more tourists in France! Enough is enough ... Thank you.
ОтветитьTulikuwa tumeshangaa ulienda wapi
ОтветитьRick Steve's take on the Cathars betrays his anti-Catholic bias. The Cathars beliefs were far worse then his condensed summary. They had some rather weird and gross beliefs. It was good that this heresy was stamped out.

ОтветитьAmasing work, even for students. Thank you so much! 🧓
ОтветитьFois gras - there's no excuse for it.
ОтветитьVery enjoyable, great video of an amazing region of France. Thanks Rick.
ОтветитьI visited the Dordogne 35 years ago and I said at the time, "I must come back." This year I will.
Ответить"France 🇫🇷🇫🇷is truly one of the most beautiful countries in the world truly blessed ones it's one of my favorite European countries that I want to both visit and live in someday coming from the Philippines.?!"
Ответитьbeen to the dordogne like 5 times in my life. great, beautiful place. it really is as nice as the video says.
ОтветитьHello 😻❤
ОтветитьI am planning a trip to France. What do you recommend - Dordogne or the Loire Valley? My goal is to see villages and lively city centers that represent France,
ОтветитьNot a vegan or a lefty, believe climate change is a hoax, but foie gras? F uck that, such cruelty.
Ответить>>>>>>>>>>> WAKE ME WHEN IT'S OVER, I MEAN "FINALLY OVER". AUG, 17, 2022,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
ОтветитьI love the Dordogne! Except de fois gras 🥴
ОтветитьVery beautiful light, nice video to watch about my own country !

ОтветитьLascaux caves or cro magnon? I only have time to visit one and want to see the better one
ОтветитьLove your videos . Any plans to visit Africa and specifically South Africa and Cape Town ???
ОтветитьPronounce it correctly. Or ELSE !
