🇬🇧 Its really surprising to discover the word Ifrit is very similar sounding to an old word that i heard my grandparents saying

Which was, when describing a fear or a feeling of "off" & they said they were Afrite

Im not sure if it was related to our accent which is distinctive & said to sound like the English that was spoken 600years ago.

I live in the far north of Britain in a county called Northumberland.
Since our region was raided alot in the 800s & 900s ad by the Vikings.

Many stayed here & settled down
In Northumberland & so many of our words & pronunciation are that of the Norwegian, Swedish & Danish Norsemen.

I know the word Afrite isnt said much now, if at all, but as soon as i saw the word Ifrit for an evil Djinn, it triggered the memory of my grandparents saying it & i heard older kids saying it when i was little!
Since my grandparents were born in the late 1800s ( 1898 & 1890)

Its known the Vikings sailed into far off places, and were said to be the Varangian Guard of Emperor Constantine in his Palace past the Bospherous in the Mediterranean.

Maybe they picked up from the word Ifrit & its meaning & once back in Scandinavia, used the word & over time its meaning was to be afraid of something unholy or demonic.

In Islam we believe they are also creation on God. They have limited powers and humans are above them.

The life of Jinns is almost the same as human life, except that they are not equipped with the equipment that humans use (vehicles, cold clothes, room heaters, reading glasses, etc. There are evil jinns but there are also good ones. The evil outweighs the good. What is most interesting is that "smokeless fire" often is interpreted as real smokeless fire or a blue flame. Where as plasma would make more sense. Which I'm reality is a "smokeless fire " also is so energy dense, which would allow the jinn to draw the energy of whatever organic matter they are connected to. Like the wind or the earth etc. Prophet suleiman used the jinns to controll the wind to lift his rug so that he would fly.

So in reality the jinn would be the avatar of each element. And if you could conjour a jinn and controll them like Prophet suleiman man could you could actually draw the energy and power of each element.

The Jinn's are unseen creatures, some may call em ghosts but they're always related with the paranormal activies,
There's a kind of Jinn called AL-Qarin (the companion) that he's with you daily till you die, and some others that can fly with their wings, there's also (The divers) that lives in water (Sea's and lakes) and others.

The truth is that we'll never see them in their real shape because they live in another dimension related to our world, or we can just call it a special ability they do have, they do shift shape into animals or humans sometimes for a purpose, (Scare people, Magic work and deals, or even for fun) and there is a high possibility that each one of us have met one of them at least once

they prefer to not deal with us, only the evil ones (Demons) will do only to get people out of the right way

In ancient times before creation of man-kind (Adam), there was human beings on earth (hue-man). These human beings operated from a more primal level of brain, geared for survival (R brain. Reptilian brain). 

Jinn being made of smokeless fire, this is like, passion, anger, emotion, strong desire, strong will. Physically dominant. High sex drive.

Jinn are powerful in a forceful sense, but jinn do not have the intelligence (development of higher brain) same as mankind.



Today there are people who are attempting to go back to this way of primal thinking. They try and brainwash themselves into thinking evil is moral, hoping if they truly believe this, they will escape the karma of doing evil. 

They say it is for the greater good therefore making actions like killing, stealing .. to be morally acceptable. 

Some of these people work with jinn who support them, and perhaps this is a fight to make reptilian thinking the dominant in the world again

Since we sharing jinn stories me and my cousin camped outside in Palestine, after bbqing and digging our chicken bones to avoid animals we fell asleep and had the same dream seeing judgement day and being surrounded by darkness I swear to y’all I had never felt so hopeless. As the darkness circled me I saw my cousin running to me and we tried to fight it together but their was no point the darkness was up to our necks and covered the earth and the sky was grey. All I had was Allah, I prayed and asked for help and a ray of light came from the sky and pushed back the darkness. Me and my cousin in our own rays of light were lifted into the sky where a hand of light grabbed me and told me to awaken! I woke up to wild dogs with beaming eyes of red and my cousin awake startled as I was! We fought off the dogs and shaking told one another of the same dream. We read Quran and went back to sleep. Im around thirty now this was when I was 15 and still remember everything. Jinn are real, but so is Allah and his love for his creations. Let us all be thankful we’re alive and thank Allah for guiding us on our way. If you are struggling then ask him for guidance he will not turn you down.
