College mei time waste karne ke baad
Also add 12 saal school mei bhi time waste karne ke baad
Man that thumbnail sample at the end got me 💀 but on the side note,if you are a master of your craft, you just need one or two clients on a regular basis and your work will speak for itself. ❤❤ Agree with what you said at the end.
ОтветитьI think you are demotivating the youth of India, freelanceing is the way to entrepreneurship.
And we need more entrepreneur right now than ever before.
And after all india has always been a service based market
Thanks for enlightenment
ОтветитьAgreed
ОтветитьPeople will learn with trial and error, and if someone really wants to do it they will learn, So don't be afraid folks , Try whatever you like, Invest some time to learn the skill , keep the basics right , And you're good to go

Expertise on something that company can not find easily, create value either save time or save money for the company your are doing freelancing and the last offcourse give little more than you paid for.
Then your are good to go 😊

ОтветитьCompletely agree💯💯
ОтветитьI started doing freelancing half-assed and made way more than 25k in the beginning. I didn't have a portfolio in the beginning.
I like this channel but this video is just fear mongering. Every job is difficult and has its ups and downs. Full time, freelancing, creating an agency/business, no matter what you choose. Even freelancing has several different skillset and even those skillset can be categorized for different industries.
Instead of letting you get scared because of what he's saying (he has good points but not for good reasons), I'll give you some tips.
1. Find jobs where there is less competition. I've had way better jobs from subreddits than I've ever gotten from all the jobs combined in Upwork.
2. Find remote jobs from out of India. Let's be honest, $100 for indians is much more than $100 for people from US. Who do you think would be easily able to afford it for the same job? You'll earn more while doing less work. There are cheap people in US too but the chances of getting them is less. You CAN work for indians and I certainly did, but only if either their rate is right or their behavior is wholesome.
3. Don't think freelancing is a final solution for you. After a point you'll want to increase your rate to be able to afford things, at that point you have to make yourself more presentable. Kinda like an agency or something. Or maybe you've had your fun with freelancing and want to experience how full time work feels like. Maybe you can make other sources of income by making videos, selling templates, etc. Whatever it is, plan for the next step.
4. This may sound harsh, but, if you don't get picked up or at least taken into consideration in even a less competitive place, means your work sucks. If you get skipped. means you don't have value in your work yet. Never stop improving yourself. Get to the point where you are irreplaceable. Niching down to an industry is one of the ways. Or niching down to a skillset. It means being focused and working faster to improve yourself.
5. Make connections with people. GENUINE CONNECTIONS, not cold outreach. Help them whenever you can. Keep planting the seed and grow it. When you've made a good connection and they have their guard down, simply express to them you're looking for work and it would be a great help if they know anybody. That's the point I'm at right now.
I do freelancing or will create a business because i never was into full time jobs. Never was, never will. Does freelancing come with problems? HELL YEAH! But did I quit because of those problems? NO! Because this is what i wanted to do.
I also wanted to point out how he probably have made you feel discouraged to not reach out to people because of that thumbnail criticism he did. Don't let it get to you. You'll be stuck in analysis paralysis. Everyone's work is trash in the beginning and you definitely won't get good work with that but that's not the point. The point is to make a habit to reach out and ask people more and improve your work while you're at it. You're not in a competition to make the best work ever, you want to make something that fits with the client.
I have SOOOO many good things to tell y'all but i guess i've written plenty lol. I guess I'll make videos about them instead sometime later.
Bro you make my confidence level down 😂
ОтветитьBold 🕶️

Ответитьbhai heart attack hi agya tha mujhy almost
ОтветитьTrue😅
ОтветитьYep! It's tough, I just do thumbnail designs for pocket money, works fine, but when I don't have work for a while, I wonder how tough it must be for someone who does freelance full time.I am able to do it without worrying about money, but for someone who has to earn, it must put them under serious mental pressure.
For anyone wondering, I just do foreign clients, I find less work but it's worth the while.
If you want to become a freelancer there are something’s you should get checked first.
1. You should be a graduate.. I can’t emphasise this enough but getting a degree from a good college will expose you to better opportunities.. you’ll also get a window of 3-4 years to try your passion without any major investment or pressure from your parents..
2. Being a freelancer in any creative field will take a hell lot of time to get expertise and build clients..
3. It’s preferable if you have a good financial background because there will be a time when you won’t get any work for months and also delayed payments.. Keep in mind that 90% of your clients will delay your payment and some will never do.. So be ready for it.
Also the equipments. Initial investment in today’s market for being a cinematographer or editor you need a good PC and a decent camera. Clients don’t care how you do it the only thing matters to them is deliverables.. Delivering what your clients asks for when they ask for it is key for sustainability..
4. Work on your skills first.
You can get a degree, start a job and do freelance work on side.. keep getting better at your work and efficiency and build some clients on side with your job.. if you feel comfortable and have 1-2 retainer clients then you can go for freelancing.. if you think that’s too much work then maybe it’s not suitable for you.. Just accept the fact..
I’m a freelance cinematographer and editor from last 6 years.. I completed my degree worked under a photographer for a year and when I decided to start on my own it took 2 years to build a good reputation and clientele.. If your clients think you’re replaceable then stick to a job and not freelancing.. Get real.. Good luck to all
Bhot mushkil kaam h freelancing.
ОтветитьY gndmra khud fail ho gya isliye sbko demotivate krna chahta h, or sympathy chahta tha
Ответитьmujhe to sirf 100 dollar chaihe 1 month me
ОтветитьI m Freelancer AD ₹30 k per project.
.. IN HOUSE ₹10k.. Konsa kare??
In short, build your expertise. Only then you can get freelance projects.
Well, that's what I'm doing
College me time waste hota hai?
