I flew United back in June on an A319 and I gotta say the seats look very uncomfortable but the padding was great. Probably one of the best airplane seats in terms of comfort. I wish ULCC would use these seats.

Awesome trip report! I just flew in this plane yesterday. It has a brand new paint job in the new blue livery. Built in 1998 and still going strong!
