Come and explore Japan's coast with us! In this Travel Vlog, we wanna bring you guys along with us to Okinawa, exploring caves, Bios Hill, Waterfalls and the Southeast Botanical Gardens. 🌴 Join us on an unforgettable 4-day journey through the stunning island of Okinawa, where we experienced the best of nature, culture, and adventure! 🌞

🌺 Okinawa was so cool. It was super trendy, vibrant and bustling with things to do. We stayed in a hotel on the main road, which made it super easy for us to check out the markets and walk aimlessly through the city. One of my favourite things abou Okinawa was the bustling Makishi Public Market, where we indulged in delicious local street food, including mouthwatering sashimi, traditional Okinawan snacks, and fresh fruit. We also explored Kokusai Street Market, a shopping haven filled with unique souvenirs, traditional crafts, and trendy fashion items.

Our adventure began at the mystical Okinawa Cave, a hidden gem beneath the island's surface. You won't believe the incredible rock formations and ancient history we uncovered deep underground! There were neon lights around the cave that made it feel like a video game. It was beautiful.

Next, we hiked through the lush landscapes of Bios Hill, a biodiverse wonderland that left us in awe of Mother Nature's beauty. From vibrant flora to exotic wildlife, this eco-paradise is a must-visit for nature enthusiasts and animal lovers. We met goats, buffalos, and took a trip back in memory lane as we rode on giant swings and see-saws. (So much fun)

On our last full day in Okinawa, we found a hidden waterfall deep in the heart of Okinawa's wilderness. The hike took us through dense forests and required us to wade through crystal-clear rivers. The effort was worth it when we reached the breathtaking waterfall, a pristine oasis surrounded by untouched natural beauty. It was so beautiful. We literally had to hire special shoes that would allow us to walk through river banks and have grip (it was pretty slippery).

After our hike, we put a random destination on the map and decided to visit to the Southeast Botanical Gardens . We didn't have much time and got a little lost on the roads, but we made it in time before the closing cut-off. Jaime and I loved strolling through acres of meticulously curated gardens. We pretty much had it to ourselves! We loved seeing countless exotic flowers and plants from around the world flourished in the subtropical Okinawan climate - and all the animals too. There were the cutest little animals :)

☀️ We truly loved Okinawa and wish we had more time to explore its hidden gems! One thing that did kind of bother me was how hot i was. Okinawa's tropical climate made each day an adventure in itself. Trying to keep cool, reapply sunscreen and time our exploration around the time of day was a must.
