Waking up from hibernation must feel like the worst hangover of all time. I had no idea half of them end up not even waking up, and more die the first week of waking up. Nature is so brutal

My dad always said that you can smell when bears are coming out of hibernation every spring.
He said it's a heavy, rather unpleasant smell.
