So much of this, especially on Mingus, are the roads/trails where I grew up deer hunting.

In may 2022 I could barely run 2 miles without getting out of breath and having to sit down. I used to love running but I suffered with chronic bronchitis for almost a year in 2021-22 which ruined my cardio. Now in October 2022 I just completed my second half marathon, and after watching a lot of ultra marathon vlogs, I feel rejuvenated and want to keep training and maybe get into the trail running scene. Every time I feel like I can’t walk up my stairs because my legs don’t work from a day of strength training I try to be grateful. Grateful that I have legs which allow me to run. I also now focus on turning all my difficult training moments into a reflection of how I’d handle myself if I was running a 100 miler. I feel like I’ve fallen in love with running, and I’d be the luckiest person ever if my body lets me run a 100 mile race in this lifetime.

why is it that none of these runners know how to use the straps on their poles? put the straps on like across country skier!! No need to grip. Very easy, low effort and effective

I got in my first ultra 2 months ago. Nothing like it. It’s horrible yet addicting lol

I’m curious to what you do for a living. Race director, photographer, I’m trying to figure it out and haven’t yet!

Title should have been: "How to permanently ruin your knee cartilage and guarantee early onset crippling arthritis"

It is so cool seeing the places you filmed during the course previews, now set up for the race.

Made it 12 minutes in and realized that this wasn't racing coverage at all. This was an advertisement. Woefully few landscape shots, and hardly any history, interviews, or status updates. In fact, I suddenly realized, that this is all about where to shoot, what to shoot, where to put up the drone, where to set up, and what the drive access is like. Sure the whole picture, as it were, includes some about the photography, but not this advertisement. Not subscribed. Not going to now. Good luck with your business.

Love the choice of music, the same type of playlists I listen to when I’m forced to do long runs on a treadmill.

As someone getting into road biking and just now being able to ride ride 26.2 miles let alone run that far, you runners are absolutely bonkers

Great vid, Jamil is a born narrator, just wished that it was longer (the video, not the race!).
