I really thought tof going to be genshin killer but I was wrong lol the game only fun for first week then it's become boring really fast. Genshin still got everything in terms of story, music, gorgeous map view, unique combat mechanic, interesting characters lore etc while tof lack so many things that there's no memorable moments about this game. The only thing good about this game probably because it's mmo and u can play with hundreds of player but since I'm solo player there's not really much things change lol.

Tof really boring and them like hv no creativity.. Every single of tof character just copy from GI, they just edit it with steampunk theme.. Tof so awfull, GI still ten times more better..

Awesome both gamess hehe been playing genshin for a years but this ToF is a diff story.

Graphics, animation and story wise ill give it to Genshin 🤗
But when it comes to Gameplay,systems,Gatcha, Features, and endgame contents ill give it to ToF

But i love both games. And also both game are in diff genre like G.I is a Coop Rpg while ToF is an MMORPG so they're not the same actually to compare.

And also u can even think that ToF is just another world like G.I cuz u know lumine and aether are traveling into different universes so for me T.o.F is just another world ahahaha

Tbh If TOF combat sfx is quite disappointing considering they went all out with the graphics/visuals and combat gameplay. Combat sounds like there's a pillow between your ears and the speaker. Bass depth is just non existent. I play with my Sound Bar /Headphones and it definitely takes away some of the immersion. I hope they'll improve on this department.

you dont catch the most glaring difference in exploration QoL in this video. while gliding you can do 3 times dodge moves on the air, while in genshin you have to use xiao

I just wanna clarify and inform everyone that some of the weapons in ToF like Meryl can actually freeze the water.

Tower of Fantasy is more fun to free players, Genshin Impact is so much beautiful, just that.

graphics and aesthetic go for genshin but the movement seems too fluid
ToF has more content and better gameplay in my experienceand has a lotta potentials

Genshin easily better game in attention to detail, music, graphics, art, lore, character build, Multiplayer content is very poor

ToF has better Multiplayer content, character customization but sometimes feels way to cheap plus main story sucks.

They both need to learn from each other specially genshin on the multiplayer aspect as for ToF I dont think they will last that long, story and lore is crap.

I never played neither game but as far as what I 👀 on the trailers of what TOF is about to bring before they come I'll have to go with it.

After playing both: For me Genshin has more aesthetic, better map details and brings me like a state of calmness that ToF doesn't give me because having mounts and infinite sprint is like you rush to places and you don't stop to admire the views and also in ToF the zones are much the same (Snow area looks the same all along the way). Better PVE and map completion

ToF has better graphics, better fight system, PVP and coop world events, much better gacha (Got like 12 SSR F2P)

Combat - Genshin ngl. TOF mechanics are similar to Genshin just that u can change weapon instead of Character for their abilities. Otherwise, click click click
Story - Genshin. (ToF story is a bit too rush? At one point, we were saved by Shirli, then she treated us like family kind of closeness, after 15mins, she is dying. Like yo the story needs pace, rn I dont have any interest in Shirli because its too damn fast nor she is interesting)
Fluidness - Genshin (Genshin is way too polished when it comes to movements. ToF fluidness such as climbing, running, and swimming reminds me of the game advancement in 2010.)
Voice Acting - Genshin (Like.. come on XD)
Physics - Genshin (Xiangling for example, her last basic attack shows her trying to hold her polearm steadily due to the polearm's weight, gravity, and physics)

My verdict? Genshin is still the best even though it was released in 2020. ToF had their time to make it better even though they already copied materials from HI2. However, Genshin Impact will always be a story based game whereas they won't be making their combat system any better. ToF on the other hand have different goals, so they can still improve(?)

Guess now days Tower of fantasy is a genshin killer because of the resent update

Tof could have been fun but it looks unpolished. Props to them for making a mount tho
