Hi Bhupender, As tried to peer two different region's Vnet without any "Virtual Network Gateway".
but it was successful. I just peer Vnet1 to Vnet2 those are in the different region and i checked that machines are pinging each other and also able to do RDP.
Please let me know how it is possible or there are some changes in the Azure Portal.

Why we are using Virtual network gateway when we can peer two VNET in different region simply by peering. There is no use of creating VNET Gateway.

Hello sir , i am new to azure ..i am following your lecture ..i am facing one issue , can you please help ,the resource group of both the virtual network of different region is different ,there is one vm in both the VNets and have established the connection by virtual network gateway as you taught ,but I am unable to get the ping of one vm on other neither i am able to get the rdp of one vm in another ? Is this because of different resource group ? please help

but sir we can do directly global peering if both VMs are in azure enviroment only if not then only we need gateways and other thing
