Fair enough. I would also avoid playing a game if the community is pretty annoying (and keeps begging me to play the game, even after I said I won't).
Edit: I still play games with toxic communities and creators (like eclise) I just would avoid the community, and not make a video on it.

I recently downloaded eclise
This thing will have you switching tiers and changing plants every level and for almost every level in lost city (the second level) I had to look up a walkthrough it's really annoying and the creator is just a bad person

Racism isn't cool, I refuse to support a person who has such harmful views, plus it helps me expose myself to the wonderful world of other PVZ2 mods, PVZ2 is starting to get the high-quality mods it deserves and some like Nightcast and Reflorished are very high quality and Im excited for when Universe will release (its basically a localization of PVZ2 China ver on top of new stuff) as well as the PVZ2 native PC port.

Genuinely really great to see people compliment pvz2 and shit on eclise.

I thought Eclise is great and the fact it actually helps me to interest the pvz again but where is the problem I honestly didnt see the most bothersome problems since atleast the microtransaction is gone so I can able to relax for no locked problems

All personal quips aside, I was never fond of GoodPea’s attitude towards the original game. Sure, it’s annoying that you have to pay for certain things, but when he starts bashing the designs of the plants for no good reason is where I raised an eyebrow.

I still enjoy the game, and I am going to continue to play it since I didn’t really enjoy the levels of PVZ2 that much, (it just felt like too much enemy spam, but that’s just me). However I won’t worship the guy for making it.

Honestly I feel like premium plants that cost real money shouldn't be in eclise as popcap and ea made them cost money, and getting them for free just isn't right

its not pay to win, however the fact you have to pay for the cooler plants is ridiculous

i dont mind vanila pvz2 but i do think eclise does some things better. i dont really understand why so many people say to emulate it on pc as android phones exist but anyway its a good mod

I thought Eclise was a fun mod despite having to look up walkthroughs (beating the S levels was such a hassle), I was surprised to learn that gp2 is Vietnamese, I was also planning to reinstall Eclise on an emulator too but welp...
