I don’t like opinionated frameworks or libraries, stay away from them! It blocks creativity!…
Ответитьtried tailwind css, material UI and bootstrap but it still takes a lot of time and practice to get efficient with one. yes, they maybe simpler than raw css but they all have their own syntax and style so it's not something you can just memorize it overnight and be efficient with one. :(
ОтветитьReact ewww
Ответитьvery informative but very fast.
ОтветитьMake your own library ;)
ОтветитьNice 👍
ОтветитьCSS frameworks without CSS what a joke
ОтветитьIf you dont know CSS - you will pick css framework.
If you do know CSS - you can write better, shorter code.
So your thumbnail `Bye Bye CSS` is just a clickbait.
Add to block list, move on, there is nothing to see here.
You can use these libraries well enough if you know how to write good raw CSS.
They all help you write CSS faster anyway
I believe ai will rapidly ease coding user interfaces and will allow for auto-design alteratives and easy user modifications....hopefully using voice prompting.
After that I can see ai handling all data transformations and presentations and the user/programmer just modifying a prompt sequence.
People should use more scss
ОтветитьSorry to say CSS is not big deal to learn. 😂 Why are you or anyone wants to skip? 😂
ОтветитьI am SO sick of hearing the hackneyed phrase "game changer" (always followed by an exclamation mark).
That's my only complaint. Otherwise, this is an excellent, very informative video; in fact, so much so that it got you my subscription — well done.
what if you use chatgpt or other AI tools to write the javascript for adding reactivity for you?
ОтветитьBalls
ОтветитьThe choice between raw CSS and CSS libraries depends on the project requirements, timelines, team expertise, and specific goals of the development process.
ОтветитьFor the summary yep, he is lying
Ответитьstill raw css is a must have for beginner and pro!
ОтветитьI've tried Tailwind for one small project, and it's the worst I've ever tried. Why do i need to play with all of these classes? I kind of new langualge to remember all of these. Thanks but no :)
Ответитьfor me combination of tailwind shadcn and sass is the best.
ОтветитьIt's all fun and games until these libraries become obsolete or their support is abandoned. I've been a full-stack developer for over 25 years, and I can't keep track of the number of libraries that have come and gone. This may not matter to you, especially if you are a consultant or work for a company and know that you won't be around to migrate or maintain these projects in the future. I've seen it many times. One thing that is guaranteed is that if you learn CSS, JavaScript, and HTML, you are guaranteed to be future-proof. However, if you completely depend on these abstractions, you are guaranteed to become obsolete if you are not constantly chasing these libraries.
If you are a product company that knows your product will be supported for many years, including decades, you have to weigh in, as you may have to refactor almost everything every few years, as opposed to depending on native browser-supported technology. Don't get me wrong; it's a shortcut and allows me to deliver solutions the easy way, and it may be more than enough. But I can tell you that when developing an actual product, these hard dependencies can kill your company.
So, it's not true that "No one is using Raw CSS." Just go to Google or major big companies and do "View Source." You tell me if "No one is doing Raw CSS." The life cycle of the average library is about two years. Just consider that.
More than ever I'm convinced that designers need to get over their aversion to code and step into the CSS space because, in their absence, developers are absorbing it for their convoluted tech stack tooling
ОтветитьUsing libraries was cool 10 years ago. Now CSS go so far, that there is no need to use them.
ОтветитьI don't like tailwind because it makes my code so messy.
Love material 3 ui
😆😆😆😆😆, css will last until other css or some technology is come..............
ОтветитьBhai itna jhoot bolte kyu ho ki fir haar video ka caption ma likhna pare "Not Lying". 🤣🤣
ОтветитьVery strange that we have gotten so far away from proper coding skills that "raw CSS" is considered some kind of special thing. I've tried all of these libraries, and I can tell you they are not better than knowing how to write CSS properly. Maybe if you're doing a design that is the same as 10,000 websites before you. But if you need to do something unique, these libraries will slow you down.
ОтветитьCSS never die!
ОтветитьBut MUI won't change its look suddenly in a particular version. If they want to change, they'll do it in a different version. So as long as we keep using a particular version of MUI, it's going to be fine
ОтветитьAlso why you forgot to use sx prop to write your css?. Also Mui neve says to use the emotion directly. Mui gives you styled utility present in @mui/material and /system. Using mui is from past 2 years it's highly customisable. Look at how to customize page in documentation first.
ОтветитьReally😅 (It is probably not the right way to learn how to build production worthy and no one in the real world is using raw CSS), No comment !!!!!!! (no one in the real world is using raw CSS, ya that's in Disneyland😒) .
Ответитьyou should add DaisyUI build by the top of TailwindCSS is a game changer!
ОтветитьMUI is a very customizable UI library and emotions is not the recommended way. MUI itself has ways to create customized components using a predefined theme. You should do more research on each of these libraries before doing a comparison between them.
ОтветитьTo learn how UI library works we gotta know the basics of css how it’s working and what’s happening
ОтветитьWhen you work on a real world project, and when you use a ui library, you will hit a point from which you cannot move forward. Then you'll throw away all these ui libraries and write the plain old css.
If you don't know css, none of these libraries can really help you to complete any production ready projects.
CSS is CSS. At the end of the day, you have to come back home.
ОтветитьMUI is ❤
ОтветитьWHICH UI Library is a game changer? You discussed so many!
Ответить👍
ОтветитьA great overview of the options available to provide styling to one's fornt-end. Thanks.
{2023-11-30}
dude, that stuff still is css. wtf!
ОтветитьYu have explained very easy way
Ответить👀 Bro You are a pro Developer 🔥
ОтветитьI think Material UI helps developers alot much
ОтветитьYou cant say bye bye to css all framework need css the bootstrap is a framework of css and every framework need a css 😊😊😊
But for developer you may say but for them they have to learn css.
If they want they will never know what they are working on
I can't believe people haven't heard of Mantine. It's an absolute beast of a UI library. It dwarfs Chakra and Material UI. Seriously
Ответитьpaglachoda
ОтветитьI think that Bootstrap and Tailwind CSS can be a bit repetitive when you have to apply the same style to many elements by give those 30 class names to each element. If I need to modify elements, again I have to modify each one separately..
Ответитьafter this video make tutorial on tailwind css
Ответить
