I tried to play Star Citizen again AGAIN

PvP and other player driven content is where this game shines

the seecond wreck you came across is actually a player ship. 3.18 added persistent entity streaming, which makes everything persist in the verse. at some point a player crashed or something, and the wreck was left there, and you stumbled upon it. which is pretty cool, and I haven't seen any other game do that.

As of october 2023 sc is still crap. Dont even waste time with it. Lets hope in another 5 or so years it will be playable.

Star Citizen was around before Cybertrash. I'm going to say it. I don't like it. So point being Cyberpunk is like Star Citizen.

Can a Star Citizen player tell me whether or not this game still has the same monetization? with real money ships that you have to re-buy/buy insurance for? The game's reputation as a scam is preceding it, and the fact that it hasn't released yet and it keeps getting feature-creeped ain't helping.

What happened to the most expensive ship you bought last time?

People just need to stop making these videos, where they play SC for like one or few hours, try few missions and they judge game and how much is in it... Play it for few weeks at least, find some more experienced players and join them in whatever they are going to do, if its piracy, scavenging, salvaging, mining, drug dealing, ground combat etc. Get proper experience. Doing just these absolutly basic missions is not SC, most people who play longer dont do almost any mission, this game is not about quests its sandbox...

I had a blast watching u play. So many things to learn including bugs but overall sc is by far my best experience ive had so far. Its only going to keep getting better, hopefully.

Starfield is Fallout 4 and No Man's Sky having a baby and dropping it on it's head. It's both games badly done. NMS has that incredible feature of flying in and out of planets, it's unbelievable. Fallout 4, well, it's the best game ever made. The hoarding, the building, the inventory/map system, usage of materials, it's unreal. Starfield failed copying both, mixing them together, and really badly done. They simply failed to copy the best part of those games. It's a shame, because the idea of mixing NMS and Fallout 4 is out of this world. It's the recipe for the best game of all time, and the donkeys wastes such a great opportunity.

Don't get me wrong, Starfield is still a great game, hours and hours, days, months incredible hoarding, upgrading, and fun. It's just the biggest missed opportunity that hurts.

Can you actually go down into that city and explore?

Well it's not like there is a lot to do in the game tbh. You have to buy ships to do like Minning, Salvage, or even Cargo. You can farm the money in game (that's pretty hard and time consuming) or just pay Christ like 60 $ for playing an alpha game...

This game is a Scam and will never see the light to my disappointment..

This game has some much potential. It has been interesting to follow the development of it and maybe it will eventually arrive (in playable state).

TBH this looks more up my alley than starfield. Starfield looks Linear, which is fine for certain story driven games. But it being an RPG and a linear rpg at that makes it feel confined.. like theres no real sense of freedom and exploration.

If you didn't crash you ship all the time 😂 you could sleep in it in space using the bed (and log out) then when you log in you are where you left in your ship (I'm like 10min into the video so idk if he figured this out at the rest of the video)

… What an awesome game… over a decade in an it’s still in pre-beta… totally not a scam.

I have learned you can imprint your DNA at a hospital or med place, and also set your refreshing place for your ship at a docking bay in a space station, but resetting the starting point.

See you struggle to see the difference between the local (region/place) inventory and personnal inventory (traditionnal inventory like in other games) just goes to show one of the main issues about this game and its UI/UX and how some simple stuff are over engendered because its an "alpha version"

And providing no ingame tooltips/warning on first use further creates confusion to new players when they notice stuff missing once on mission site and after 15/20mins of d*cking around on space

Yea it would be nice if you can fly to orbit on your own in Starfield 😢😢

The primary different is that Starfield will actually be finished and fully playable before the year 2050. And land vehicles....
