Why didn't you show how you installed the mounting bracket

Incredible how bad poorly designed this thing is. There are not screws that work. The short screws - even the short screws provided in the separately ordered angled mount - do not have points at the tips, so they are not designed to screw into wood. So, I used my own screws for this.

There are some other problems with things missing, things poorly designed, etc. I hope Blink/Amazon is better at the electronics, software, and networking than they are with the darn hardware!!

Is that hardie board siding? I have some cement type siding. Looking for a way to install my blink doorbell. Not sure why people make a big deal about drilling on your siding.

If you are having trouble making the mount stay attached to the corner bracket like I did:

I was using the screws that came in the one large packet with the longer screws you use to mount to your house, assuming those were the right ones since they were all in that one package.
I don't think those are the right ones though - There was also a smaller packet with just two screws in it, and those worked great. Wish I had realized it before stripping the other smaller one out. I think those other small set are intended to replace the ones in the doorbell itself that connect the electrical wires for your chime, because they look identical.
Would be nice if the instructions were clearer on which screws to use.

Also realizing I made a mistake and did not connect my wires to the backplate, I connected them directly to the doorbell piece itself... Still seems to work fine so I am not gonna mess with it at this point

ARE YOU KIDDING?!?! Those screws can be easily ripped off the wall, no? Just got mine. Heading to hardware store to buy some 4 pieces of 3 inch long screws to better anchor them to my door frame. They didn't even include screws for the angle mount in mine. There are only 2 screws. Come to think of it, there's no instructions either. That's no problem for me, but I'm sure there are TONS of people who would be completely lost without instructions.

This does not work with the newer doorbell ! It has a foam backing on it and does not fit !
Wasted my money !

The mounting plate brackets break easily, how can I get a replacement? There's no where I can find one.

I can't get the camera to attach to the back plate. I've tried everything I kniw and it won't click into place . I'm afraid I'll break the little "ears" off the plastic

Lol seems simple I am struggling with the last part putting the door bell. It does not get in to the base

Did you notice that your doorbell no click? It is not safe mounted, anybody can take it off. I bought one, and I couldn't secure it.

If I install without the bracket how easy is it to put onto the back because it not working for me to put it on

What kind is screws did you use on the bracket? The ones that come with it seem too small

At what height from floor did you install it?

I heard in other videos that you cannot power your blink doorbell with the hard wires. Can you confirm?

When doing the hardwire to the doorbell do I need to remove the batteries from the blink doorbell or they stay in there?

Can I know what is the voltage of wiring cable ? I just order power supply and it burned my doorbell .
