And then there’s that one smp (you know which one I’m talking about) where they make timelapses of them building rocks and skulls etc, publish them on yt and say “oh yeah sorry I forgot to turn on timelapse” so it’s just a 7 hour video of Xisuma placing blocks on repeat.

I recently made a server with a couple of classmates, and we had a first „session“ (the server shuts down after 4 minutes of inactivity, and only one of us can start it up so) and we have one person who knows basically nothing about minecraft, a guy who plays it sometimes so he knows some stuff, a lass who is decent at it sometimes but is laggy because she plays on mobile, and me (I have decent theoretical knowledge abt quite a lot of stuff but I never really play Minecraft myself so) we spawned in an ice tundra bordering an ice spikes biome (ideal place to spawn if you‘re 4 noobs/semi-noobs in survival) after a lot of deaths and travelling we made it to a plains biome and then to a village. We only massacred about half of the village (one of them destroyed a villager house for the wood; but no one will admit it) and kept the rest for the iron golem spawn. Then we started building houses. The others set realistic goals - villager sized houses, maybe a bit bigger. I built a 19x22 frame :) maybe not the perfect thing to start with if you haven‘t played minecraft in years, don‘t know much about building and don‘t even have iron armor or basic knowledge of the surroundings lmao. I travelled back to the tundra for pine (?) wood, got some cleanstone which I turned into bricks and it‘s turning out alright so far but I‘m dreading the roof. I have no idea what to do for the roof. Probs gonna look terrible

I’m the type of person to build things from scratch with no variation of blocks. If I use spruce wood, I don’t use stone, and vice versa.
