Gentlemen, this was a unbelievable unbiased review. I absolutely watched every minute of it and agree with your final results. I do feel that you missed out on one HUGE CATEGORY. Factory Accessories. Most users that buy these machines add alot. Polaris, is definitely #1 in that category. IMO! That is why I chose the 2023 General over the Yamaha. I added factory Tilt out windshield, Upper doors and rear glass and of course because it only comes with a 6 month warranty, I added a 4 year warranty. I truly believe that Factory accessories should be one of your categories going forward. The best hands down unbiased review on these three machines. All information was accurate IMO! 🍀👍🙏🙏💪💪👏👏
ОтветитьYamaha will most likely outlast all of these other units. My 1997 350 wolverine atv I've put through hell still fires right up on a cold day.
ОтветитьWatched this on the way to pick up my new 23 Rmax XTR 😊
ОтветитьWhat size tires did you use for the test?
ОтветитьThe looks of the yamaha can't be beat! I watched your videos and test drove the machines out here in Arizona, I came home with a 2022 Yamaha Rmax4 and I couldn't be happier! The can am was my second choice while the Talon was 3rd. I couldn't risk a fire in the garage with a Polaris so I stayed away! lol
ОтветитьI didn't see a comparison of headlights.
Ответитьvery nice video. I'm looking to buy one of these but have trouble just doing reliable online research. This is super helpful!
ОтветитьGreat review! I'm already set on the Yammie. I'd heard from many the leg room in the General is cramped but nothing is mentioned here
Ответитьalways great content from you guys.
ОтветитьOne of the best tests I've seen.
ОтветитьWell 32 min in first thing you do to a polaris or any is trash the sway bars
ОтветитьExcellent video guys. I'd like to pick up my first sxs someday. My heart really wants a yxz but my brain says rmax.
ОтветитьIts too bad I have to listen to nonsensical adds before the snow even starts, no skip button. Makes me lose interest in the show. Ads completely waste my time.
ОтветитьGreat review
ОтветитьHoly Shit batman.
20k +;for a 2 seat SXS jeez I remember when a 2 seat SXS only cost 10 to 15K. Things are getting stupid expensive. Never thought I'd see the day when a SXS cost as much as a fucking compact sedan.😵😵😱😱. Well if I'm going to pay that much for a SXS then I better get the best value for my $$$. So it would probably come down to the Yamaha or the Polaris. The Cam-am is a good machine however I don't know enough about the company or their products. So if I'm going to be dropping some serious$$on the SXS I'd probably go with the Polaris General. Although it's the most expensive SXS of the bunch it's a tried and tested platform so you know what your getting. The Yamaha is another great machine to consider and would be my 2nd choice if I couldn't get a Polaris. The only reason I wouldn't make the Yamaha my 1st choice is the transmission feels a bit jerky when shifting from reverse to drive. ( The Polaris feels more refined there). Now I'm pretty sure Cam-am is a very good product given it's been in the United States for a while. However without knowing more about their products I don't wish to take a risk. So that's my opinion.
We sold our General and bought a Commander 1000 XMR after the TWENTY SEVENTH TIME having to have it serviced in just 2 years, and it's in an entirely different class for those wanting a do it all machine. We've towed our 2680 lb overland teardrop almost 280 miles with it multiple times. It's been over 4 feet deep in the mud to the point where you have to get out of the seat so you can keep breathing and still gets itself out. The thing just doesn't care where you are or what you're doing, it just does it. Now the only time Polaris comes to my mind is when one of the people I ride with is stuck or breaks down. I won't ever buy a Polaris again.
ОтветитьDid any of them breakdown in the test?
ОтветитьI love my rmaxx
ОтветитьAvoid yamaha company will not back you up if you have problems
ОтветитьThe R max has a spacious interior? Not for me. I can't fit in it. If I could I would buy one/ Great machine.
ОтветитьCongratulations on Kyle Anderson winning the Pro Stock NA class for 2023 King of Hammers and finishing 34th overall. That's right, the Yamaha 'golf cart' beat out many highly- modified sport SxS, including 2 KRXs and a Honda Talon in his class. No Generals or Commanders anywhere in sight of KOH.
ОтветитьNow report back when they each have 5k miles, and I'd bet the yamaha is leaps and bounds ahead.
ОтветитьYamaha sucks in cold weather. Motor blew. Can am for the win.
ОтветитьNot sure why they said Polaris general has both park and parking brake. It doesn't. It has park in transmission NOT a parking brake.
ОтветитьBelts
ОтветитьRmax is a beast and most reliable.
ОтветитьI have no doubt they are fun.
But good god. People seems to have too much disposable income. They basically cost as much as a car.
You could by an old jeep and spend half as much upgrading it.
Needed to add the CFMoto z force to the shootout
ОтветитьHow does legroom compare between the General and the Commander?
ОтветитьThere seems to be too much emphasis on performance these days. All these perform well above my willingness to engage their potential. I'd like to see the machines being more quiet, comfortable and durable. One thing they have done well is the suspension. That is, if that last. Call me old school, but I just like looking and listening and relaxing while I am riding rather than tearing up the road.
ОтветитьWhere is Honda kawi and textron
ОтветитьI have a Yamaha V Star 1300 touring bike, a Yamaha yz250fx, and would get the Yamaha R Max if I decided to get a sxs, Yamaha products are the best in my opinion
ОтветитьOne of the best SSV shoot outs I have seen
Great job
My Polaris mechanic told me that Polaris wants to get one dollar in repairs for every mile driven. He works at a dealership. That dealership also sells Can-Am and he said Can-Am was a much better choice.
ОтветитьAWESOME JOB, putting these machines to the test
ОтветитьMust say although I’m late the video was definitely fantastic. As a 6’4 ex football player I have found the can am best suits me personally. I like the spacing in the can am and the general for me although a great vehicle it hurts my back too much something about the seat position I guess. Yamaha is also really nice love the rugged capabilities but the bed is lacking for me. Can am to me has the best bed, seats and performance I need. Trailing in the ozark mountains for a multi day camping trip or doing heavy work around the house the can am is a absolute weapon. All of these are definitely fantastic rides no doubt and I hope everyone enjoys there rides and are safe. Commander 2023 XMR 1000
ОтветитьThis was the side-by-side review that I was needing, thank you!
ОтветитьMy dad is 6'6 which has most leg room?
Ответить100 percent the General is by far the best one they are over the top perfect.
ОтветитьHonda pioneer....?
ОтветитьI realy like the camander the doors are great the smart drive is great for me considering getting the camander I Don see anything I don't like I especially like big deep cargo box and the storage comparents
ОтветитьI run a can am x3 rc and love it been looking at these for when the kiddos go and this pretty well sold me I know it can if j need and that’s what I want!!! What are you using to video that connects to the phone and on your head??
ОтветитьHonda? Talon 1000x or 1000R? 6 speed dual clutch
ОтветитьFRIENDS DON'T LET FRIENDS BUY ANYTHING POLARIS
ОтветитьI’ve never had any reservations buying a Yamaha, dirt, street, whatever. They may not be at the top of any one category but they always score good acres the board. Great vid it wouldn’t upset me to own any of them. After riding bikes for years I drove my cousins side by side and that sold me, radio, cooler, fishing poles, lawn chairs, yeh I’m in lol, especially the older I get.
ОтветитьNot to hate but I thank u more focused on the can am
ОтветитьNot sure if anyone has asked this yet but how was the in cabin heat throughout the 3 machines?
Ответить
