It takes a strong person to not become the person that hurt them. Even my fiancé went through hell in his childhood and decided not to be that. He still has some issues he needs to work on with his trauma but i understand why. I was never abused like that, but i try to understand

This poor man endured more pain than any person should ever have to experience. He was so beautiful yet people bullied him until the day he died. He was so unique and misunderstood. And the crazy thing is nowadays the world is so much more accepting of people just like him. He was ahead of his time. I wish he would have had a normal peaceful life instead of the hell he went through.

It hurts to see the pain in him in these interviews. You can literally see him hiding pain in interviews too. He always gave his all and loved children because he was robbed of his childhood.
He was a very misunderstood and judged man. What a brilliant, incredible, beautiful artist and human being Michael was. I hope he's in heaven and singing among the angels because he was simply too good for this world.
One thing MJ is wrong about in this, what Joe Jackson did WAS abuse, just because Michael chose not to continue the cycle doesn't mean that it wasn't. Michael and his brother's survived a lot of physical and mental trauma.

My children had chores to do and homework… They weren’t spanked but grounded when they were older. Also I didn’t do things out of Anger to them… They were great kids and Great adults and they have children. So Im a grandma “Grams!”

Curiously, Michael claimed his family wasn’t wealthy but they also weren’t poor, when he and his siblings were young children. However, I recollect a biography that displayed the family’s Gary (IN) home, in which it was revealed the house actually only contained two bedrooms. Some of the children were crammed into one of those bedrooms, and the others slept in the living room. Nine kids is a lot of babies, to provide for. The family was indeed poor.

As a mother, I would not have allowed that to happen and I did not. I am not the Mother to mess with.

This was triggering for me. I was physically and emotionally too. I am 62 yeas old now, my father has changed and apologised, but hearing him talk about it, the fear, running to hide because he was pulling in the driveway. Just about everything he said i identified with. Listening to Michael talk about it gave me anxiety and tightness in my chest. I am glad my father finally realized what he did was wrong and sincerely apologized but the scars stay.

And people wonder why I don’t like Joe because these conversations that came out of mj mouth. I glad Joe made J5 and MJ also Janet. But besides that I can’t like or praise Joe for anything else. If people ever wondered why MJ did this or that in his life go look back at his childhood and listen to private phone calls on YT and read his book MoonWalker please!!
