A couple of Dodge and Ford lovers. Not gonna watch the video! Full of bull butter!
ОтветитьAbsolutely amazing all of these modern trucks. Just wish the manufacturers would stop paying CEO’s and leaders 1000x more than their workers. $30,000,000 million a year in compensation is immoral and bad for the nation. It makes people so powerful they can pickup the phone and call any congressman or the President and get special consideration.
ОтветитьI will keep my 2002 ford sd 7.3 I get 16- 18 mpg towing trailers 20-26 no trailer
ОтветитьWho are these two dorks? Quit trying to be funny.
ОтветитьIt’s a durajunk! I bought one new in 2005 and wad on a roll back at 1200 miles and this continued for 3 years every couple of months till I traded it in on a dodge w a Cummings 6.7
ОтветитьWhat a hideous looking thing and you get the crappy gm electronics.
ОтветитьFun. My 17 year old truck brought 13mpg to the table from San Jose to Eugene, over all those passes, diving hard, wth a GCWR of 24,400 pounds on the state scale 3 years ago.
ОтветитьThat is about the same mpg as my 30,000 lb Rv with a 454 TBI. I did put a banks power pack on it.
ОтветитьYou guys edited the 3 pumps out at the Pump ‼️
Ответить2021 ram 2500 pulling cargo trailer daily average 13 mpg
ОтветитьGas would be same money wise fuel cost
ОтветитьThe TECHNOLOGY is a total turnoff. I prefer a truck with the dimmer switch on the floor where it damn well belongs! It also looks like a plastic Chinese toy. When did truck mfrs turn into sissies?
ОтветитьI will stick with my diesel, 2003 F250 7.3 powerstroke19 years, 335,000 miles and counting with no end in sight. No engine failures or major issues, gas just doesn't get there.
ОтветитьBasically the only difference between the 3500 single rear wheel and the 2500 is that overload spring.
ОтветитьWhat's the towing capacity?
Ответитьgoing up the ike gauntlet isnt a fuel economy test and regular people dont haul up giant hills every single day.
ОтветитьAll new trucks are junk now I have not heard anything good about none of them trucks yet from nobody
ОтветитьGreat video gentlemen! Thanks! Its good to see. 😅
ОтветитьLove the Alison
ОтветитьDoes the 2024 Silverado and GMC Duramax tow better and ride better than a 2023/2024 Ram Cummins? Is there less problems with the Duramax than the Cummins for 2023/2024? Is the exterior and interior better than the 2023/2024 Ram Cummins?
ОтветитьJust spit the god damn numbers out
ОтветитьAlthough I don't entirely understand the purpose of these trucks they cost as much as a semi truck and get less fuel economy then a semi truck does with more weight on them
ОтветитьCorrection if you like the noise of the diesel and you enjoy going to the dealer for repairs on a very regular basis get the cummins or if you just can't afford to get a Ford or a Chevy buy a dodge otherwise stay as far away from them as possible Cummins is the least Dependable diesel on the market and has been for decades
ОтветитьMr truck stay on gm about the location of the hitch. It’s wrong wrong wrong. You cannot change the laws of physics
ОтветитьThat is pathetic milage for a diesel pickup my freightliner cascadia 465 cummins 10 speed pulling a 53 foot dry van averages 9.1 mpg for the whole year my 1977 chevy pickup with a 454 gas enguine averages 11.1 mpg ,but realistically you have to add the DEF used with the diesel used to get a realistic MPG and cost for fuel
ОтветитьThat's just a bit better than my 2500 RAM with the 6.4 Hemi. I get 10.5 mpg hauling a 10,000lb 5th wheel.
ОтветитьBoy is that an ugly looking truck....comme on....more grill😅...
ОтветитьCrazy my 2005 gets better towing stock then the new trucks and almost same weight pulling behind. Epa are killing these motors.
ОтветитьI used to get 12.5 towing a fifth wheel camper trailer @ 12.5klbs it is was pretty tall at 11ft. Loved that 06LBZ
ОтветитьShould of gotten 17.. that's shit miles
ОтветитьHave a 24 one ton High country . Pulled from eastern Nebr to Montana over Beartooth pass a 13 k 5th wheel . Not impressed by mileage but was very impressed by Def usage and breaking . Loved the exhaust breaking ,and hill descent on rough trails . Not broke in so hoping for better mileage . Overall really like the truck . Until Gm fails me I haven’t decided to switch . Still have a 08 duramax with 300 k on it .
ОтветитьDuramax4lifeAllison
ОтветитьMy 2015 lml will get 12+ mpg with this test.. these new trucks are junk man
ОтветитьEngine needs to be broken in really but for me those are pretty poor numbers , an old 2000's something daycab like a mack or something will get the same or better mpg pulling a 53 ft trailer with 30000 in the box , i know that because i retired from living in a truck to living in a house , kinda prefer the house the food is better there are no backups all my waiting to get loaded is counted in beer cans no more weigh scales and i can go to sleep without a lot lizard banging on the door 🙂 the getting old part sorta sucks though .
Ответитьalways had a HD 2500 high country Duramax. However I will not pay around 100k for an auto anymore. Quite simply GM is pricing themselves out of customers.
ОтветитьHey mate what is the colour name of this truck?
ОтветитьWhat’s the unloaded mileage like
ОтветитьI would love to but the 2024 but at $90,000 GM Has Lost Their Mind.
ОтветитьI live in Clio, Michigan but am from East Tennessee, we go back a few times a year I usually take my Wife’s 2019 GMC 2500 Crew Denali can drive from Home to Knoxville Tennessee on 3/4 of a Tank of Fuel, The Truck has a 36 gallon tank like the. Other Three we own and I have say we don’t let much grow under our feet. We make a (9) Nine hour Drive depending on Traffic in (7) Seven Hours.
ОтветитьMy 2021 GMC Crew 2500 gets 26 mpg. It was 22 mpg. Strait out of the Gate. I have a 19 same body truck gets just about same. My 2014. 3500 Single Wheel gets 21 to 23 depending.
ОтветитьMy 01 duramax when paired with a bullydog got 17 pulling 17k. Loved that thing, rode like a car too
ОтветитьWould love to see the trailer cameras on the different trucks.
ОтветитьPlease test the new 2024 Silverado/Denali 1500 3.0L Duramax with the same load on the same route... I'm interested in that! My expectation is to see close to 20 mpg. The 10K load is the typical load I'm at.
ОтветитьPut a camera under the sunroof and show us more Dash footage please🤞🤞🤞🤞
ОтветитьShow us the dash more! Its a new model! you not🤣😂🤣😂✌
ОтветитьI have a 2021 3500 LTZ towing a 18K gooseneck living quarters horse trailer getting 13mpg. I get 23mpg empty.
ОтветитьI think GM is working on making her trucks, more reliable then going crazy with the horsepower and torque wars. They have worried about cooling system and are transmission cooling, seeds are in the right direction, when I watch videos with the new forge high output 10-speed the transmissions up to 265 and Ford says that's acceptable, time will tell
ОтветитьThis was a great real world test. Typical load, typical trailer for prototype customer. Comment on exhaust brakes - you claim the Cummins is louder could be due to that being a compression brake rather than an exhaust brake. GM restricts exhaust gas outflow with variable turbo vanes. A compression brake or Jake brake changes exhaust valve timing to open paradoxically at the end of compression cycle turning the 4 stroke cumbustion cycle into a compressor hence the ‘blat- blat - blat” sound which today is markedly suppressed.
