You got the 7th Amendment wrong, TED-Ed. The 6th Amendment guarantees the right to a criminal jury trial.

The 7th is only about jury trials for Civil Cases.

Do your homework.

As spoiled and entitled as Americans are, the Bill of Rights is what makes America the greatest country in the world. The fact one has the freedom to disagree with that fact proves the point.

Ya lost me when ya said some things were a bit old.
This document was written specifically to prevent tyranny in this country by people that lived under tyrannical countries.
These men were smart and purposeful in their language to ensure this document that is the law of the land to preserve the individual rights for every American citizen.
For the last 53 years of my life I’ve watched our elected officials attempt to destroy our inalienable rights as citizens in the name of safety or the greater good.
Professional liars and thieves we elected who are owned by big pharma, oil companies and the rest of the shitbird companies that bought the likes of the Bidens,Schumers and Pelosi’s in government.
The same folks who have been sending young Americans to die in wars started on lies.
There will come a time when the people have had enough and we will take things back as is our right under the constitution.
Biden claimed that an ar15 can’t fight and f16…
The Russians thought the same about Afghanistan as we did too…
Those who aren’t taught history, like our public education systems, are bound to repeat the same mistakes.
Rest assure Americans. There are millions of heavy armed American veterans who are watching and waiting to enforce our constitutional rights…
Wake up America, the illusion of safety isn’t worth giving away your rights to self pro and being safe against unlawful search and seizures…
Stop giving away your protected rights for the illusion of safety ….

You make a video about explaining the rights and you can't even explain the 2nd Amendment properly. It's not just about defending yourself, it's about defending the nation with a militia from enemies within and without.

The second Amendment was not about British troops the war was already over it was to insure American troops could not do what the British had done and everyone always leaves out part of the 10th amendment in order to leave it up for interpretation, these are the word they leave out, “nor prohibited by it to the States”.

This video is ahistorical in claiming that the purpose of the 2nd Amendment was "originally to protect the colonists from the British." It was clearly a counterbalance to federal government power. One may debate the extent to which it was designed to reside in state/local militias vs the individual, but to state that it was to protect against "The British" is just historically wrong. If that were the case, there would be no need for this in the Bill of Rights. The constitution already guarantees that the federal government will protect against "invasion."

Jesus Loves you Matthew 11:28 come to me all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. As well as Romans 6:23 for the wages of sin is death but the gift of God (Jesus who died on the cross for our sins) is eternal life. As long as you put your faith and trust in Him.😊!!!!!

The most important thing about the 5th Amendment is that it took away the Right to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness that was placed above the Law in the Declaration of Independence. This is not something the government had the right to do.

If any American think they have any rights they should look up Japanese US concentration camps in 1942. Rights, by definition, are ultimate and they can never be taken away from you. These were good honest Americans in good social standing, their only "crime" was being born a different ethnicity. They were given no trial and no lawyer. Just when these citizens needed their rights the most, the government took them away. Rights are not rights if they can be taken away. All you have are temporary privileges.

The main reason for the second amendment is to protect the citizens from a tyrannical government. It exists because the anti-Federalist would not agree to ratifying the Constitution without it. Protection of the government, self protection and hunting are secondary reasons for the second amendment. It is misleading and confusing to not describe the true meaning of the amendment.

It's so funny how Americans think their few rights are still relevant today. Wow so the government can't house soldiers in our house? Who doesn't have freedom of speech? North Korea? Wow a great peer group haha. The American so-called Bill of Rights was based on the English Bill of Rights from more than 100 years earlier, which included freedom from cruel and unusual punishment, right to bear arms, jury trials, you know, the things that Americans get taught that they invented haha. America copied a few of those rights and in an especially horrible move, they added them to their slavers' constitution, effectively freezing them in time for Americans except for through a very difficult process of amendment. This is why Americans don't have any real rights like the rest of us, no clean water, no education, no health care, no freedom from execution, no freedom from slavery or from torture, etc etc etc.. It's pathetic but at least they're "proud to be an American" -- no one else would be haha.
