BETHESDA will be FORCED to shut down FALLOUT 76 - Winter Roadmap CANCELLED, so WHAT NEXT?

Literally just downloaded it. So lets hope not.

I played ESO online and there was the same rumours about shutdown. It's still rolling today and full of awesome new content. Some online games take longer to rocket. I still have faith in fallout 76. Nice video and points though. It does make sense.

IMAGINE: The Fallout TV series comes out in 2023 with all of the dead serious, take- no- prisoners background of Game of Thrones.

THEN: Imagine that fans interested in the show look for the game version of Fallout, and find Fallout 76- where Fasnacht parades and July 4th cookouts are big events, and players run around in power armor and clown hats in a game riddled with hacks. That'll work, sure.

This game should have shut down a year ago. But Bethesda's made money off of this cheaply thrown together bug fest- even though it's come at the cost of their own credibility.

I don’t see 76 being shut down anytime soon. If anything Microsoft will tell Bethesda to get better people to handle 76 since the ones they all really have are incompetent as hell. I think Microsoft is giving Bethesda a chance to fix it on their own but they won’t let them take forever like they have been.

I only see the game shutting down when it no longer makes money and since both Bethesda and Microsoft says it makes money I don’t think it will be any time soon, the earliest I could see it happening would be 2023. I do agree that the game saw a lack of content this year and the the Pitt will be a big make or break moment for the game

Fallout 76 is not the greatest game, but right now is a good one, it resist 3 years of bugs, hackers and patches, this is not going to disappear soon...

And honestly, if Microsoft want to shut down this game, they could do it with no delay or shame...is too soon to claim this ship is going down...

I will half agree - as long as this game is making bethesda money they wont shut down. however the future for 76 hinges on what they do with the game. honestly despite the short commins of the game I love it. Lots of pleasure to play and build up a new character but it really needs more substancial content. Ive still got a bit to do but once Im done I dont know if I can hang onto doing the same thing for 5 months lol.

its so frustrating as there is so much they could do - encalve human npc's faction to return, more quests or a hub base with humans for the responders. a new nuke boss area fight. maybe a quest line for the cultists where you help a defecter escape as they are so damn intresting yet not really exploited. and some personal ones I would like to see are more cryptic monsters and when they do get around to adding the expeditions in I really would like it if they maybe added in areas outside of the US, like if you could visit parts of britain maybe.

hell if they added in a pvp event other than monster mash as that one is trash would be happy with that for now.
lets hope the next 5 years brings us the content we all want.

It seems to me it appears that Bethesda is looking for the bare minimum sustainable levels needed to keep the majority of Fallout 1st and the "Collectable" type players paying for that monthly subscription. I'm referring to those that have to have every item in the game, those Collectors that will grind it out for whatever is even remotely available. The rest of us content players are merely along for the ride. This is probably why the Fallout worlds "open-sandbox" modes don't appeal to most of us.

These kinds of opinions from the player base confuse me. On the one hand, they want new and exciting content all the time but on the other hand they want more of the same (i.e. single player games, offline content, etc)

Hope they do shut it down. Fallout should never have been online only, literally a cash grab for franchise saps. Hopefully Todd wakes up smelling the coffee and F6 is single player again.

Bethesda are pretty dumb honestly, they expect people to stick around yet they pulled some half assed fix or Update and expect peolple to stay. If you don't fix your game no one is going to be around for that. They complain about it but everything they "fix" something it's more like an outright removal, more bugs and assed patches. I don't get them at all. Its pains me to say this but I enjoy the survival aspect of this game but sadly it's only fallout in name, Vaultboy, etc.

I used to play a lot other games but stopped for this game because I find the building cool and chillin' with friends and family refreshing because we talking more and have a lotta fun rather than being no lives try hards playing CS but honestly with this game falling part, never improveing (1 step forward and 2 steps back aka bugs and breaks), and always being let down with false promises about content and push backs...not sure I can support this game anymore.

Hopefully they get their shit together because this is the worst fallout game and still is. If this was renamed to something like "Wastelander" or "Apocalypse". It's a pretty good game with bugs.

I'm starting to think their strategy is having a steady stream of new players and letting veteran payers drop off. Surprising, I know but the game is managing to get new players fairly consistently. I have been playing the game since beta, and it's clear that Bethesda doesn't care at all about people like me. If you go on Reddit, you can tell that many people posting there are relatively new to the game.

Dude you do realize their downfall on 76ers average daily concurrent Blair County Azhar pretty much flat line add between seven and 8000 players a day and staying for the last year yes there been some bar rations around me weak and things like that but more or less it’s been running between seven and 8000 players a day for over a year. Dude you’re not lucky you’re full of shit the servers do maintenance every day you can’t stay on a single server for more than 24 hours they do maintenance every day on servers then at some point the population gets low they just kick you off the server happens every day yes trust me I am a serious AFK or and you cannot stay on those servers rare that you want to get dark every 24 hours

Play free the servers are pretty stable probably the best They have been since Launch

Let's just be honest here, the only reason why everyone is saying fallout 76 is going to be shut down is because if you look closely at all the videos with the negative comment on it. It all comes from PC so that's to be expected. If you look at the positive videos on fallout 76 they come from console. So I can see them canceling fallout 76 for PC but leaving it on console for the rest of us
