The CA DMV is a totally worthless institution full of red tape and BS. I took the eLearning Test., got every question right, was told that the system had been updated with the info. But I cannot make and appointment to finish renewing my license.

Took test. Never received confirmation I passed ? Is there any confirmation codes given!

For some background. I took the regular permit test in person, I failed 2 times. For the third attempt I decided to take it online. I was able to pass the exam online. I was sent an email confirmation confirming I did pass.

However, today I went to the dmv where I orginally failed. They say I have no record of passing the permit online. They only said I still have a third chance left.

Back in my email. It did have an option in scheduling an appointment. It also carried a confirmation number. I was thinking that maybe if I tried applyiny to a different dmv from the one i orginally took it. I could possibly get my permit that way.

I came here asking if there was answers, maybe advice on what could be the problem?

I thought over 18 requires 36 questions only?

Is it for the first timers or knowledge test for someone who already has the lice’s from another state? Believe the tests are different for regular written test and knowledge test. Im looking for the knowledge practice fee. Thank you

it just tells me to schedule an appointment or the mvproctor just says INVALID PATH!

Hey! I did the online written knowledge test and passed! A white screen came up at the end and said “Congratulations!” And I called the DMV and they said it takes about 24-48hrs to get a confirmation email that confirms that I passed the written knowledge test! Is that how it goes?
