If you have the horsepower modification in your truck it handles better with all the compartments
ОтветитьThis is honestly the first piece of Subnautica content i have seen that isn't just about perfect. We shouldn't have to fight like crazy just to get the Seatruck into this dock...there should be an auto docking procedure just like the one in the moonpool.
ОтветитьI looked up "where to find it" and Google showed me this... -_-
ОтветитьIVE BEEN TRYING FOR A LITERAL FUCKING HOUR TO GET THESE MODULES TO DOCK AND ITS NOT FITTING FUCK
ОтветитьAfter having abandoned this game for a long time (last played while it was still in early access) I reinstalled it now just for this docking module. However, I can't dock the seatruck with any attached module. I've tried everything but to no avail. I guess I'll wait until a patch for this bs is released. Uninstalling again. 👎🏻
Ответитьdo you have a glich with cargo module?, because i can't enter in the dock if my seatruck atach this
ОтветитьI’m struggling to get 1 dock port in there cause I only use the storage modual 🙄
ОтветитьIs a mod or a update?
ОтветитьThis is why I wanted to delay playing the game because of the early access status. I finished the game yesterday and would have loved having this in game ... The Moonpool was annoying when using the Seatruck with it's modules... Don't feel like playing the game all over again just for this ...
ОтветитьThey’re probably working on the blueprints. Some bug fixes lore. That’s why they’re probably waiting for it to be released to the public.
ОтветитьAny idea when this will be added to the game from experimental?
ОтветитьOh thank god, finally a video showing the modules too! Every other video only shows "Hey, just the Seatruck docks! But we won't add any modules to see if they work too!" Glad the other modules work as well and a video showing they work.
ОтветитьHave they done this update for the game yet
ОтветитьHave they done this update for the game yet
Ответитьis it out
ОтветитьThey just should just add a docking module, or add a docking port to one out the existing modules. This is just overly complicated and weird looking. Plus the animation will totally not get old after awhile.
And while they'd at it, merge some of functionality of the existing seatruck modules because some of them are really skimpy on utility. Like the aquarium one is basically useless by itself, and isn't worth it considering the big cost of speed adding another module entails.
And again they forgot about the xbox version.
ОтветитьWow now how do you get it in survival? Or is it still experimental?
ОтветитьUpdate number??
ОтветитьSo is this fully in the game now?
ОтветитьOn the plus side, it's much smoother now and really easy to dock. The animation grabs you from farther out as well to auto-pilot you in and separate the cab from the module train. It's still monstrously large and can be difficult to find space for you if you're building deep in some of the tighter locations in the game. Definitely a good addition to the game as is. I agree that the pass-through design you suggested is worthy as well, though such a thing would actually require even more space, because you need null space on two sides of the tube, for entry and exit, not just on one side.
ОтветитьThis docking station has more potential than it may at first appear. Using this, you can make your Seatruck basically a mobile base, by simply building Seatruck docking stations around the world where all they have is a power source and maybe some of the crafting stations. Your Seatruck modules can serve for everything else; bed, storage, (basic) fabrication, and possibly even our Prawn suit.
ОтветитьDo you know when this might be released?
ОтветитьFinally! I hope I can use it in my current save file. I don't wan to replay the game again after I build by awesome estate.
ОтветитьCan't fit storage or fabricator modules in this one on pc. Kinda not worth it.
ОтветитьIs this out for console cant find it
ОтветитьThe only drawback with this is, this still means having several free-floating modules if you don't use all of them at once. I mean it works great if you have a seatruck ready to go with all the modules you want, but if you need to rearrange or add/remove modules, you're kinda put into a bind.
What I would've done is shorten the entry tube by at least 3/4ths, and also feature a module docking port as a separate structure so you can back your modules into your base. The port would not double as a hatch though and would only be usable when there was a module docked with it.
I'd also be interested to see if they give the prawn suit a dedicated docking bay. One that can automatically link it with a seatruck docking module.
Any idea when console is getting this updating?
ОтветитьCan't wait for the update, looks awesome there and I'm sure they're smoothing out the transition before releasing the update.
Ответитьi haven't this in my game ;(
ОтветитьWhen will this update drop for PS4?
ОтветитьThey should automate the docking so once you enter the start of the docking tube it moves you in.. That way you don't have to fight your way in.
ОтветитьI have the perfect spot on my base for this already Ready when it comes out it's on the edge facing out to the twisty bridges
ОтветитьLooks great, I just hope that when the Update drops it'll be easier to actually Dock the Seatruck inside it, my concern is that you need to go all the way inside the Tube to trigger the Docking Animation, it would be better if you only needed to go to the Entrance of the Tube, and then the game would automatically steer your Seatruck through the Tube, the Seatruck Dock could be harder to Dock into than the Moonpool because you're required to steer the Vehicle through a Narrow Tube to trigger the Docking animation, the Moonpool works because it's incredibly easy to steer into it
And a minor nitpick is how your Seatruck is too long for the Tube, granted your Seatruck has like 2 Aquariums on it or something, but I would hope that the Tube is the length of a Full Sized Seatruck, I consider that to be one of every Module plus a Prawn Suit
Loving these changes! Can't wait for the new bits to be added to the regular versions of Subnautica and Below Zero
ОтветитьI'm so glad that the devs seem to still be passionate about providing great content and quality of life additions. One of the best dev teams out there, in my opinion.
ОтветитьI think the docking animation needs to pull you down the tube automatically instead of allowing players to struggle their way down it. It would just make alot more sense for it to pull you in instead of bouncing off
Ответитьthat is really cool i cant remember how to get into experimental ????
ОтветитьIt should automatically go into the docking station one you in a accurate position
ОтветитьIs this mod?
Ответить~ Will this be an option to having the moonpool or will it be a replacement for it?
Personally, I still prefer the moonpool to this docking module, however, I'll
be very interested in seeing the final design before I pass judgment on it.
Thank you, Steven, for giving us this cool peek into what's in store for us in the 2.0 version!! ♥
What a great quality of life improvement. It’s a bit finicky at the moment, though
Ответитьcool so my pieces of extra seatruck don't have to just float nearby anymore lol. definitely needs changed to the orientation you suggested, and maybe a little more wiggle room to dock
ОтветитьI’m so happy for this mini update, I’m really excited. Hope dock are more big, but it’s right at the moment.
Ответитьwonder if the sea truck get ported over to the first game - thank you for the share but looking more forward to the below-zero parts in the original game
ОтветитьWould be nice to be able to add tubes to it
Ответитьjust bring back the seamoth. still I will have to play the entire game over the weekend... again...
ОтветитьCool idea but jeez, why did they make it such a tight fit?!!
ОтветитьThats actually awesome
