How to access ubuntu linux server by Putty? - How to access linux by using putty?

hi when I put open putty close and disappear what could be the reason??

please i have aproblem when i connect from windows putty to ubuntu server it asked to user name and password i typed
user name : root
passord : ***
i'm sure that password is correct but it answered me that ( access denied )
i tried more but same result
what shall i do ?

Hi Buddy, what will be the command to access redhat installed server. sudo apt-get install ssh not working in redhat.
