In regards to that porting issue, are they going to fix scalecaller peak or is anyone who does the final boss in there now just forced to die or remain trapped in there forever because you're stuck in combat even after finishing the dungeon.

HA builds rolled back into niche noob set ups and eso again putting up a barrier against new and casual people's entry to endgame. Devs must be clueless or just push arcanist and sales of necrom by making ha builds outright bad.

I have so many thoughts. First, the bow change combined with the dual wield nerf feels like it will make bow the best in slot weapon for dps. We’ll see.

The two handed change to followup does not matter at all. It only increases damage of 2h attacks which is a tiny amount of your damage, and requires a 1.8 second cast time to get thats small amount of extra damage. It should just be a 10% damage increase to consecutive two handed attacks if it is only going to affect two handed attacks. Like overall, between the 2h stat decrease and this “buff,” 2h is still nerfed from before where it was almost never front barred to begin with.

And finally, the flame staff dot on heavy attack doesnt make any sense. It takes 2 seconds to cast a heavy attack, so a standard 20 second flame dot doesnt really enable more damage right? In the 2.1 second heavy attack time, you can get the 20 second dot, and another ability cast which is the same as throwing out one extra ability. Itll only be good on absolute redlined sustain builds that NEED a heavy attack once every 20 seconds to sustain, and you lose the lightning staff dot buffing passive unless you heavy on the back bar.

I'd prefer if Dark Cloak has kept the major savagery/prophecy. That morph at least sees some use in trials, while Shadowy Disguise does nothing for PvE. Also, if you're using Shadowy Disguise, you'd lose access to Dark Cloak.

I welcome all the bug fixes. The more the better.

I would love to see another altering weapon sets refreshed. Cruel flurry is totally useless this days. New staff's damage may be a refreshed axes bleed, what's nice.

Can someone explain a little more what PTE is and why they no longer allow traveling during combat in groups? I’m console so not sure this ever was problem for us… for me does this change mean you can no longer queue for cyrodiil or something when in imperial city to escape being killed and losing tel var?

Is arcanist just not generating ult while parsing, or just me? 😂 did fine last night, tonight, no bueno.

Correct me if I'm wrong and I know you were just doing it on the fly but I think you calculated the combustion change incorrectly.

If you normally do 7k burning, that's with the 1.5x multiplier. So regular burning is 4666, and with new combustion .33 multiplier it will be 6221, so a 779 dps decrease.

Why are so many passives geared towards a heavy attack play style. Not a fan of a lot of these changes whatsoever

sadly, rn on pts jabs and flurry no longer proc azure blight, and it doesn't crit... so right now azure is dog water on anything but arc

Deadly lightning staff be going up

These changes arent bad. They need some fine tuning, but they arent bad. For lightning staves specifically, they should change the AoE on heavy attacks to be a ramping damage with each tick. For example, the first tick does x amount of damage, with each tick the damage increases by x percent, with the final tick at the end of the fully charged heavy attack doing something in the ball park of 25% extra damage of the base tick. This gives them the same AoE potential they currently have but makes it not as strong as it is now. The damage could be as low as 2k AoE damage. The boost at the end will boost it to 2.5k. This isnt factoring in champion points or class buffs, character buffs or gear buffs. So it has the potential to reach higher numbers than currently be reached. But it requires you to actually build for it. Rather than getting it outright with no real effort...

That was my issue with oakensoul HA builds. Theyre too easy. You dont have to invest much into them. These builds need to remain strong but require you to commit to them. Just like everyone else has to commit to their specific builds for them to be effective...

Does ancient knowledge passive change mean that elemental susceptibility is going be used more aince all 3 effects gets the damage boost thats an extra free 1500 damage?

Honestly, all of the staff changes are God awful
