2.1ghz Raspberry Pi 4 Overclock Performance - PSP, N64, and Naomi

Would you overclock to 2100 with a GeeekPi Acrylic Raspberry Pi Set-top Box Kit,Raspberry Pi 4 Case with 4010 Fan 5V + Raspberry Pi 4 Heatsinks + Extension Board for Raspberry Pi 4 Model ? Or do I need a stronger fan and aluminum case?

How come Fire TV Stick can play a lot of PSP games smoothly yet Pi 4 with 8 Gigs of Ram is struggling?

IS there a way to overclock the Dreamcast image ? I dont think it has a built in script

This is so silly, a cheap amazon fire stick can do this just fine, requires no overclocking and it's offer's a much better media streaming experience. I get having a custom machine, but if that's the case then just jump on a Ryzen mini PC jump up into higher end emulation.

In times when you can buy Ryzen 2200 and have a graphics card to play these games theres no place for Raspberry Pi . It cost even more!

Looks good but the n2 is hands down better and only a little more expensive if you include the price of the extra cooling needed to overclock the pi. Even the c4 has better performance currently. Im not trolling you can check my channel for video proof

It would have been helpful if you had spent more time on explaining the overclock procedure. You zipped through it way too fast (for me, at least). Maybe there are people who are using an image without an overclock script, so you need to address the parameters that get changed in the config file. Otherwise, a good video, especially the suggestions for cooling options.

Honestly it's not the CPU in SBC's that lack the power, it's the GPU that is often the weak link when trying N64, PSP, etc.

interesting - i don't feel i have had a need to overclock, nothing has really looked 'bad' on stock with the canakit case and fan - am running the pi4 with 512gb sd image

I’m having an audio issue when playing N64 games. It’s almost like a crackling noise. What would be the proper fix for this? Other than that performance is great on the pi 4

im still waiting for the pi4 to mature a bit more on the scene. Perhaps by then a "+" version will appear and then ill upgrade.

I have the low-profile Ice Box cooler, and it keeps my overclocked Pi 4 at a very low temp. There's a vendor on Etsy who 3D-prints cases for the full-size or low-profile Ice Tower cooler users.

Would overclocking a pi 4 at 2147 with a argon one case be perfectly fine? Also what is safe parameters for temperature when overclocking that high?

I have Wolfanos and Damasos 256 images and neither has this option. And I think I need to apply more voltage or something, even 2ghz option won’t boot (have the ICE cooler, so not worried about that)
