Hello! I’m planning a trip to Hawaii in March and I’m interested in surfing. The area that you surfed at, was the water deep? Was the waves/current strong? I’m a beginner swimmer so I’m curious to know. Also, amazing video!

Gotta love to try surfing in Waikiki, well in my case it was more paddle boarding as I never actually got up. We liked the International Market Place (i heard its closed now) even though it was probably touristy. Gotta enjoy a Mai Tai or 6 on the beach

Aloha! I am born and raised in Hawaii <3 but of course I want to leave someday lol. I lived on the Big Island, Maui and Molokai. I now reside in Honolulu. Like all Hawaiians, I have lots of family all over the islands, but because of working, I don't see them often :( I rarely get to the beach, I used to swim everyday on the Big Island. But Hawaii is my heritage and I do love it. I will leave someday, I am almost 50 yrs old. My parents sold their nice Kona house with coffee farm, and they moved in 2019, so it is my turn now.
