What diameter do you suggest for carving? This one looks fairly large. Others look smaller. How large was this one and what is the smallest you suggest?

ОтветитьHi Joddie love your videos you’ve inspired me to have a go I bought a cheap galaxy pro with flex shaft and all the kit that came with it
cost me approximately £26 sterling quite a good weestarter pack rather than jumping in at the deep end and spending a few hundred pounds on something that you may not like so started in at the cheap and just to see if I could do something with this fabulous idea of yours I must admit The package came with several burrs and I bought a flat so extreme plain but it was fabulous once it got settled in then it stopped bouncing about all over the place and now I love it probably have to buy some more various bits
Anyway Joddie as they say in Newcastle in the UK why are you a man
Which means how are you doing❤❤😅😅
Just started using a dremel and getting into carving. Usually I'm a wood burning kind of guy. I'm really greatful for your videos! Thanks!
ОтветитьHey Jordy, what’s a good Fordem tool for a beginner? Thanks in advance. Yupik do super nice work!!!
ОтветитьI have a bunch of logs but no way to cut them in half like this. How do you do it?
ОтветитьI'm a newbie. I would like to thank you for inspiring me the ability to be USEFUL again in Life. Long story short I was diagnosed with Gillian Barr Syndrome. It's a disorder that causes paralysis from head to toes. I've managed to get back to walking in 4 years. Not being able to go back to work and still a long way to recovery . I saw 1 of your videos, then I seen several. You are a very talented person. Thanks again pal, Brian M. Of Va. Not the Brian M you have in your workshop on the round stock in the videos. 😂
ОтветитьYou have inspired me to try this. I'm so grateful to you and for you. Stay true to you, I love wat hi g and listening. Be real

ОтветитьHello Mr. Jordy
I'm Michelle and I've been into carving ever since I seen your carving videos. You are so good at it, and I love it! I've actually sold 2 of the first spirits I carved, wasn't trying to sell them, I was just offered. I even received a flex shaft dremel for my birthday. I just wanted you to know that you are fabulous and my inspiration.
Sincerely
Michelle Doyle

Old show Jordy, ,but I didn't want to be disrespectful on your tribute cast for George. I tried unsuccessfully to find a way to reach you in pm. So I'm doing here. Over the last two months I have been watching your cast and enjoyed the atmosphere. I did pick up many useful tips and technics thank you.. You provid a good distraction from the hackers and trolls who magically appeared on every site I I paused on. And your subtle manner allowed me to completely miss that you are part of this as well. Not to place all the disappointment I have in the behavior of adults everywhere on your shoulders. ( I'm not) but I expected a bit more from someone who has had their own trials and struggles than to join with the mob mentality that what they are doing to a fellow human being. Is perfectly fine. And okay. Please stop talking about how you are there to help people, unless it is something that you really truly do because a joke is only funny when everyone can laugh at it.
( Oooo) nice wood spirits Jordy.
That's very cool I like your videos. Respect 👍
ОтветитьVery cool videos
ОтветитьFavor de describir que tipo de madera usas o que otras.graciasPlease describe what type of wood you use, thank you

ОтветитьHey brother - Thanks for all of the videos. You're an epic teacher and I appreciate that you took the time to make these! Throwing a wood spirit on the handle of a spoon I made...harder to get em small tho! All the best dude
Ответитьmassive love from Dublin Ireland, you gave me inspiration man. I LOVE THIS GAME
ОтветитьBeen carving for awhile now the 1st video i seen didn't care for not sure why. Watched another glad I did thanks. Not my way I use knives but I see how a dermal will cut away a lot of wood like that. Not saying knifes are better just like them more
ОтветитьHi Jordy, very usefull your videos. I'm trying and trying but I'm still far, far, far from doing a face like yours. Don't stop your videos please. Christian from Switzerland
Ответитьassuming that carving a palm tree would be done the same way, probably easier correct
ОтветитьI gone and done it. Did my first wood spirit. Pretty happy with it for my first one! Thanks to your videos...
ОтветитьWished I'd gone down this road... I bought carving tools (knives etc), yup I have two lovely wood spirit/Viking type carvings that I'm rather proud of, but it takes me days what it takes this minutes to do & my left hand has multiple scars, holes and scratches.
Nice job and I love that "Kutzall Flame Rotary
Thanks for videos they are great
ОтветитьCan u add photo here?
ОтветитьMade my first wood spirit yeah it's cute
