Thank you.
ОтветитьThis was an awesome tutorial!!!
I made a stencil to do a gingerbread man. I was going to teach a lot of students to paint a gingerbread man and had only about 15 minutes for each group. Stencils for everyone made it go so fast!! I’m so excited that I can streamline the process with my reusable stencils!!
Would the engraving tool work or what blade should I use?
ОтветитьSo cool hack tutorial ! 😊
ОтветитьUmmm I have the cricut maker. It's detects all blades. It won't let me use a deep blade of it says a fine point blade. I've tried everything. I can't even cut basswood or balsa on any settings. It's going on 1 year and I've tried daily. I'm selling my cricut cause it's not what think it is
ОтветитьHi question when I weld the design disappears
ОтветитьI had to come back and attest that this works perfectly. I had been going crazy and wasting sheets but once I started following this directions I have had no problems! 💕 Thank you! 💕
ОтветитьJeez!! Just get on with it...
ОтветитьThis was the very best of all of these videos!
ОтветитьThis is awesome! Love the little trick for adding the centers of letters
ОтветитьCan you use 10 mil srencil
ОтветитьCan I use this plastic in the Cricut Joy? I just need small 3 or 4 inch stencils.
ОтветитьThis was an awesome detailed and easy to follow tutorial! Thank you so much.
ОтветитьThanks for the vid, very helpful. We have a pic that we are trying to turn into a stencil but are having difficulty. It cuts the whole image out. Can i get some help please?
ОтветитьI’m trying to find a material that I can use when bleaching shirts. Do you feel that this craft plastic will hold up?
ОтветитьIs a Deep point blade the same as Deep Cut Blade?
ОтветитьI'm still a little confused as to WHY you made those little rectangles to connect to the inside letters? What did that do?
ОтветитьIf card stock or craft plastic is sticking less to your mat, you can tape the edges of the product with a low tack tape to the mat.
Ответитьwhat paper are you using
ОтветитьAre you available for hire to cut stencils.
ОтветитьIt’s 0.07 INCHES which is 1.7 MILIMETERS. 0.07 milimeters is thinner than a pieces of paper!
ОтветитьI have a explore 3 not a maker I can’t use transparency one help
ОтветитьTook me a long time to find a video using the same material I had. I could not figure out why it wasnt cutting. Thank you!
ОтветитьHello there. I'm knew to my cricut explore 2. Could u please tell me what setting to put it on to create the stencil. I used the vinyl setting but it didn't come out right.
ОтветитьNice video, could this stencil be used for t-shirts? Oh yeah, where is your accent???
ОтветитьSuper cool!.
ОтветитьI don’t understand why you have to make that little line thing you put on every letter and why you don’t put it on the w or the m.
ОтветитьA member who is looking at making stencils. My question is, can these be used on curved items, ie small stencil on drinking glasses. Bought the Grafix and going to start with my simple stencils for my cardmaking. But would like to add some pizazz to our glasses and cups. :)
ОтветитьYou can get stencil fonts
ОтветитьInteresting. Another vid said to upload then save image/text as a cut file. Did not mention slicing it.
Also, a fine tip blade was used instead of a deep point, then a custom setting was made to allow for more pressure.
Learning so much as I enter into this Cricut world. :)
Thanks for the vid!
Can you place the adhesive treated stencil on a painted canvas? What do you to prevent the painted canvas from damage?
ОтветитьIs all this possible with the Explore Air 2?
ОтветитьNOTE: .007 = 7/1000th of an inch = 7 mils. A mil has nothing to do with millimeters. Oracal 651 is 2.5 mils thick. Stencil plastic can range from 4 to 15 mils thick or so. A credit card is 30 mils thick.
ОтветитьThank u so much! I learned this so fast with your directions !! I feel smart!
ОтветитьYou lost me around minute 5 with the pieces translate over and putting the sticks in the middle of the loops of the letters. Please explain.
ОтветитьWill the krylon peel the semi gloss paint or wood stain off the wood when lifting the stencil from the wood?
ОтветитьI have a new Maker, new user, and I bought all 3 recommended materials: deep cut blade, craft sheet .007, and spray from these links and have tried 3x with no success! I followed the instructions twice and made adjustments, but the plastic is way too thick even when I added more cutting pressure... the cut does not even go all the way through even a simple large cut, I'm bummed and will be returning all of these items to Amazon.
ОтветитьI use 5 mm Laminate Sheets (I use my Minc Foiler to Cure them to Clear) and Cake Wrap Acetate Rolls (I get the 6in or 8 in Wide for Cheap on Amazon) for my Stencils and Shaker Cards
ОтветитьCan you use the plastic with the Joy?
ОтветитьWhat does that little itty bitty twig do?
ОтветитьWhy are the stems necessary?
Ответитьthat seal spray smells even DAYS and WEEKS after using it
ОтветитьGlad I found this video. I was asked if I could make stencils with my maker and I said of course! All the while having no idea of what product to use and how to keep the letters intact for a stencil. Thanks! Now when they tell me what it should say I can make it no problem and tell them what to use to stick it down!
Ответитьthank you for this!! will the “stems trick” work with stencils I will be creating for etching glass? would I be able to free hand with the letters with etching cream?
ОтветитьAnother great tutorial, thank you :)
ОтветитьWait you need to pay money to print or cut??? i heard you need to pay if you wanna cut more than 20 images, is that true???
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьI am a new cricut user. Can I ask what might be a silly questions. Do the cameo mats fit the Explore air 2 machine?
ОтветитьCUTTING HACK :
tape two cutting matts together before loading and use more pressure and it will cut in ONE PASS , I make alot of stencils and this NEVER fails me.
Can a Cricut Joy be used on this material?
