the F16 doesn't have such strong radar as a matter of fact the F16 has the worst radar out all the gen 4 and 4.5 fighter jets from US. They want the F16 because it's advantage in SEAD and CAS. If Ukraine is really seeking for air superiority , the FA 18 superhornet or even better the F15C-E are wayyy more capable air superiority aircraft . Mig 29 and F16 has a similar radar range of 40 to 50 nm .
