Easy tip: You don't need the hourglass. One blow with the bellow = one hourglass of time. Makes alchemy slightly less hectic

As has been said: you do not need to know how to read to brew potions, it just makes it easier to follow if you have trouble with word scramble games. If you have a wiki guide, it will tell you the exact steps to brew each potion, anyway. You even can auto-brew potions with the appropriate perk, while not being able to read. When you successfully brew a potion you "don't know," it will auto-unlock it in the alchemy book, for future reference.

PS: Glad you're covering this game too, dude! It's so fun, we've just been spoiled with great RPGs. This is helping me with the wait for Monster Hunter World on PC.

You need tp pumb the bellows more than once. The recipe calls to boil it, not keep warm. The better you follow the recipe the more potions you get as a result.

You know I started kingdom come thinking I would bean unarmed master and it sucks. I'm tempted to just switch to an axe and learn how to read. I've been picking flowers I wonder if I can brew potions with them

great video! I think it would be a good idea to mention that you're not following the recipe 100% as others said in the comments you should get wine to boil for 2 turns. this might not be an issue now, but maybe in future patches.

Lol IKR, finding belladonna is giant pain in ass, so much so ive been playing for three weeks or so and have yet to find a single damn belladonna flower

Okay they must have changed the recipe since it came out, because the instructions say it the Nettles need to BOIL for two Turns(around 20 seconds real time). You barely heated the cauldron and somehow got the Schnappes, do you have a perk that simplifies the recipes?
