Hello Karl and everyone, what is your opinion on using this MacBook for video editing? I'm talking light work, 1080p max 30 mins videos...maybe 4k occasionally. How would it handle it? Do 8GB of RAM suffice? Thanks!

Got one yesterday, it’s my first MacBook it’s pretty easy to use and navigate, I thought it would be little more different to use than a chrome book. I got it to use for my college classes

Looking at laptops because a year ago my 2012 MB Pro died. At least it was peaceful, he went away in his sleep (never turned on again, charging cord still works). Went to the store and this felt great under my fingers :)

I have this model and realised that open system means open system. Someone left a Cadence certificate for an ISO 27000 meant for GitHub. I guess I won’t be able to do my thing. Should have invested in public health. :/

Don't throw that box on the floor!😀 Those Apple Boxes are works of art and I hang them on the wall for that reason. They put a lot of effort into making that box beautiful. It hurt me seeing that sticker being partially ripped off. But the laptop is nice too.

What would you suggest for photography looking at this and the m2 pro

Apologies in advance for my pronounced ignorance but....I need to replace a MacBook Air with a Dual-Core Intel Core m3. I can tell - by performance - the it's on last legs. What I really, truly need is the ability to support a Zoom background, a decent camera that doesn't make me look like I'm sitting in a shadow during zoom calls and decent speakers. I'm thinking this MacBook will do the trick? Also, what do you prefer? Purchasing in store or having it delivered? I'm a little nervous to let a "genius" take my MacBook into their back room to make the change from device to device. Paranoid? Probably but....
P.S. - Thank you for the specs suggestions!

Its not an old box, the new box one size fits all MB Air M2 and dont have specs of the laptop behind, the sticker is for any ram or ssd upgrades
