The easiest way is to have a camera with "wifi" and it will automatically download to your computer, tablet, phone or whatever. That's what I started doing years ago. But, now I just take all my photos on my phone and the photos automatically upload to my amazon photos app. Unfortunately, I have a bunch of SDs, USB thumb drives loaded with photos from over 15 years ago that I need to download to my computer, and guess what? I'll be doing just what you're doing with all those cords and adapters. LOL
