Make sure you buy the correct permit too. I bought one for Kgari, and thought that it also covered cooloolah, but it does not, and the fine print says loser pay anyway despite writing a letter of explanation. Nah no good. Gimee $207 thanks. When I die I want my ashes scattered here. Love this place and go here often from Brisbane. ❤❤❤
ОтветитьHi Mate ! Nice video and info !! Starting on a 4x4 journey and loved!! Thanks for the tips 🤙🏽🤙🏽 keep the good work
ОтветитьCan you fish?
ОтветитьI came back from camping here and had a goanna come scrambling out from under the tub when I started to hose the car down.
ОтветитьNice one mate . Are normal tyres fine? Or have to have tyres for sand? My car is a 4wd Isuzu
ОтветитьGreat video, thanks for sharing❤
ОтветитьI recently got hilux, i havent got budget to change tyres into A/T. Is it ok to drive with original highway tyres? Beginner here.
Ответитьhow good is that!no dogs shitting everywhere!
ОтветитьI was up there on the weekend just gone and it was amazing. Only been a couple of times. Looked like the rainbow end might be unable to be driven as the water looked very high even though it was low tide.
Ответитьyou are the best mate...great video...
ОтветитьGreat video, tks for all the infos 👍🏼
ОтветитьPlace is hammered. Well overused!
Ответитьwhy do you always squat like your snapping one off?
Ответитьalmost stood on 2 red belly black snakes walking through the camp area and dune entrance at night last weekend. You can spot them pretty easily even at night. Definitely wasn't a stick and was worth turning my light on to look.
ОтветитьPlease keep making videos like this. So refreshing to watch videos with detailed information on the destination or activity. Love to be educated!! Cheers!! Love the 4wding tips too. Great video!!
ОтветитьUsed to be able to bring dogs... until the police state kicked in
ОтветитьThere is the iceman (food truck service) that runs up and down the beach for water/drinks, ice, some food to 🤙🏼
ОтветитьWhere’s the Fraser and Morton Island videos? Couldn’t find in description
ОтветитьGreat video TJ. Just picked up a foreword fold camper trailer and I’m looking to explore our wonderful state. This is definitely a place I’ll visit! Cheers!!
ОтветитьAwesome video TJ it's actually just what i needed considering I've just moved up to QLD and wanted to get stuck into exploring the islands 🙌 always keen to tag along if you guys are heading out again soon 😊
Ответитьthey were specific about the toilets too, right? Like you can't get the ol' plastic bag mini-long drops. It has to be fully enclosed and you have to take the waste back to a caravan/dump point.
ОтветитьQue hermoso el pais donde vives, muy lindo video, que encanta mirar la herosura que Dios creo, saludos desde Argentina🇦🇷👍🍻
ОтветитьGreat video mate
Ответить👍🏻
ОтветитьNo phone service by any and all providers?

ОтветитьIs the vehicle permit separate to parks pass?
ОтветитьAwesome overview. Really enjoy these as someone planning to lap Australia in the future. Thanks TJ!
ОтветитьThe DI secret spot is well and truly out of the bag. 😅
ОтветитьLove these how to? video and history thanks tj jack
ОтветитьGreat info again TJ! Haven’t been up there for years!
ОтветитьFreshwater camping area has toilets and $2 coin operated hot showers. It’s a really well setup area with quite secluded tent and trailer sites. Just remember to have a stash of $2 coins for the showers.
Ответитьrangers are actively fining people camping without toilets FYI
ОтветитьThis video would of been great when i first got my 4wd cuz i was so clueless haha, really good informative video
ОтветитьGreat info mate, Don't forget everyone seat belts are mandatory.
ОтветитьGreat content and editing is top shelf TJ keep it coming 👌 UPPA
ОтветитьYou forgot the most common thing to do. Cutting hoops bouncing off the limiter😜
ОтветитьAwesome video mate! By the way there's a brand-new fire station in the town at rainbow. Went in towards the start of this year :D
ОтветитьGreat vid, enjoyed watching 👍
ОтветитьI just remove the abs fuse and turn traction off in my nav if I don’t wanna keep the rear locker on
ОтветитьHave seen foxes and wild doggs up there
ОтветитьThere's also sometimes a ute that drives around selling ice and basic supplies. Thanks for the vid TJ!
ОтветитьCorrect regarding toilets. Have seen rangers ask campers to leave if they do not have one set up. Dump points at Freshwater 👍
Heaps of foxes at night, you can seen footprints in the sand each morning. I have seen a dingo as well.
dont tell everyone its already busy enough 🤦♂️
ОтветитьWhat about all the red p platers that do burnouts all night, they are dangerous animals
ОтветитьDefinitely changed over the years. When i first started going to DI there was no permit required and was only a gold coin donation to camp
ОтветитьYou mentioned disconnect traction control in my patrol 48 I disconnect ABS because how dangerous i find it off road
Ответить
