please don't forget to mention when your using short cuts for things like jumping up type/font size by 10 at a time or similar things, those feel like some of the most valuable parts of the tutorial but it's hard to get the benefit of you using them

Hello there...I wanted to ask you whether is an option when a the text and a line is together and in some kind of way the text 'cut; the line off. I don't know if there is a better way to explain it.I want to use it for measurements...For example..I want to write 5 inches and show the length of the line but in the the text I don't want to appear the line...so after the letter 's' to continue the line.Thank you in advance!

Hey I'm in your future, but I hope you're still answering questions. I can't figure out between ID and IL about when the type tool will put the loren ipsum and sometimes it will just put the cursor inside the text box. Sometimes I am trying to get the type tool inside the text box and it puts another lorem ipsum on top of it. Is that a setting somewhere or a symbol I'm missing when I choose the type tool.
