Thanks for the details, which has helped me a lot to set up my son’s device. I don’t have Lighting to 30 pins adapter, but lightling to USB one. Will be my adapter still working? I would like to find it out before purchasing the USB hub. Thanks again!
ОтветитьWhat app he use pls?
ОтветитьHi, Can you please tell me how to connect ZoomH1n and Boya BY M1 lav mic to my smartphone so that I can record Audio and Video in together? No post-production hassle.
ОтветитьCan I use this for Android ? Same way ? Will it work with Mi A 1 ?
Ответитьand what about card mode? Can you see audio files? Can you use it?
ОтветитьIm using the h5 by recording from the ipad, everything worke great with camea key, but the zooms battery dies too fast! Is there an idea to mange that?
If not, can i use the h1 and connect into it 2 mics and record from it? And does the battery live long?
OR you could just buy one of the hundreds of external microphones that have been made for iPhone
Ответитьso complex. I believe there is something wy simpler to do that. I'll go on researching
ОтветитьI prefer to leave the business, than walking around with all those cables like a NUT!
ОтветитьCould you use this while going live on FB? Or is only useful for recording apps on your iphone? Nice video!
ОтветитьHello, I try this set up but as soon as I open MoviePro with the mic connected I get MASSIVE feedback noises that won't stop, how do I fix this?? :( I tried to record with normal camera too but doesn't recognise the mic and uses phone mic instead :( PLEASE HELP!
Ответитьdoes this support IOS 10 devices ?
ОтветитьDoes this work with android or windows phones? Thanks
ОтветитьWhat about zoomQ2 .?
ОтветитьJust watched this and the new vide w/o hub. My question is have you or anyone tried using this setup w/ other USB mics or 2 H1's? Could the hub be used as a mixer for multiple USB mics?
If it does work I assume the audio would still come into the iPhone as one file and not left/right separate.
so many cablesss
ОтветитьWill it also works for recording video on iPhone with zoom H1 as microphone?
ОтветитьHi Aaron, thanks for the vid.
Can I somehow transfer the audo files via your setup into imovie? Or do I have to record directly in video mode? are the sound files stereo? Sorry for all the questions.
I don't understand why this is necessary? You can press the record button on the zoom as good as on your mobile... so I don't get it. Can someone explain?
ОтветитьVery good video
ОтветитьThanks Man ; can we do the same thing with an iPad mini?
ОтветитьCan you just use a regular cable for the iPhone to the hub.
Why do you have to go from lighting, to 30 pin, to camer kit?
I think u can actually go to the menu in H1n and choose its power source from battery over the usb when connected. That way, u won't need a usb hub at all. just an AA battery.
ps I don't have my Zoom with me right now so i can't really confirm but it worths a try tho.
thanks
ОтветитьWill this work for real time radio interviews using the iPhone to call in to the radio station?
ОтветитьIsn't it way much easier to record sound on zoom's sd card and then sync it with iPhone's video?
ОтветитьI have a zoom and want to try this. why if you use batteries, would you need to use a powered usb hub? wouldn't the battery powered zoom not draw power from iPad??
ОтветитьI suspect the error message is a default error popping up in iOS because at first you directly plug the Zoom into the iPhone, it reads it as a Zoom H1 and kicks it. Obviously it can be powered by tricking the iPhone into seeing it a a generic mic and not a Zoom, via the USB hub, which somehow keeps the iPhone from identifying it as a Zoom. This would then be something IOS would need to patch. If anything, adding the unpowered hub and other cords, increases the demand on the connection, which proves it can more than support the Zoom. Great video. I have Zoom H1 and iPhone 5 myself.
ОтветитьYou sound like Mark Rufallo haha
ОтветитьSorry, but if i want to connect my iphone to H1 without usb and only with jack?
ОтветитьGreat video. I wonder if the too much power alert has been corrected now in iOS 8.
Anyway, I think if you get quite serious about filming and using the H1, an alternative is using Final Cut Pro, and record the audio separately, the software will automatically mix them and synch the audio track.
Is it possible to get the same functionality using a USB to Lightning connector and the powered USB hub? It looks like Apple recommend a powered hub where there's incompatibility.
It'd be nice to reduce the number of new purchases required.
Question... If this is connected and I recorded on just the regular iPhone camera, would the audio still be from the zoom? Or do you have to record it in GarageBand
ОтветитьBut what if u want to use the camera while using the mic?
ОтветитьWhere can I find the cable to line out for my camera please?
ОтветитьHi! Thanks for sharing.
I have a Zoom H2N mic, do you think that could be functional?
Very good video. Thank you very much. Please can you give me the information which hub you are using? Do you think it will work by using a belkin hub type F4U038 or F4U040 ? Thank you in advance.
ОтветитьUsefull video! Would this work with the H2?
ОтветитьVery helpful!l But now Zoom have brought out iQ5 that is making for a nice neat solution for not that much more than all the leads.
ОтветитьDoes it work in Stereo?
ОтветитьCool that this works! Strange about the USB hub though. Anyone have any idea why this would work with no power to the hub?!
ОтветитьI just use a auxiliary cable to connect it to my nexus 5 works perfectly.
