Are we allowed to recommend the weird minigame thingys? If so, how about you combine two mega games? Well, technically the same game, different versions....

Hermitcraft: bedrock edition! Take the downsides of bedrock and put them into java! For example, you can only put things like shields, totems of undying, and nautilus shells in your offhand, you can't crit animals, and... maybe every few minutes you have to "manually crash" the game by closing it? Lol

And to cure yourself of the curse, what better way than the thing Bedrock is most famous for: the impossible wither! Fight a wither in the open with no outside help (iron golems, dripstone, non-challenging hermits) using wooden tools/weapons, leather armour, and really bad food like rotten flesh and raw chicken! I don't remember if withers are immune to all potions, but if not, you have to give it strength as well. If/when you complete it, sacrifice the nether star to be freed. Wait, if I remember correctly, nether stars despawn in java but not bedrock, right? Bonus points if you sacrifice it by despawning it to show you're back in java!

Since you liked being social with s9 zedvancements, maybe invite other hermits with the bad gear to help with the fight?

This series is a very zedaph themed thing to do you always seem to find the most unique things in the most normal of games

Geez hermits are too efficient, first episode and so much progress done, everything figured out. I feel like I'm watching some well proffesionally prepped presentation. I do appreciate the thought that goes into season before hand, but I feel more engaged in on the go videos, less polished. But no doubt another insane season from Zed ;)

I have an idea for a minigame you could do for a farm. Lets say you build an iron farm, you could set it up the collection to spit out the iron from random droppers. all of this is enclosed in a box. Also inside the box is an Allay who is also trying to pick up the iron, and is taking it to a note block collection that just spits the iron out into lava/cactus. The only iron you can have from this farm is ones that you pick up yourself.

Zedaph really said that session 1 needed to be like decked out; can't bring tools or weapons, surviving off berries, extremely at the whims of mobs

Between Zed here and watching everyone on Magic Mountain, there sure is a crack theme this season so far XD

I think a great name for the base would be The Fissure of Fun!

Survival gamify ideas:

1: Either hand out or perform one quest to/for another hermit per episode. Don't forget the quest reward!

1.1: Perhaps successful quests unlock certain items for you. For instance maybe you have to perform a quest for each potion type in order to be able to use it.

2: Possibly too complex, but: Keep track of your favorability with other hermits (maybe limited to 5 other hermits?) depending on interactions you have with them. Both negative and positive interactions are possible. Higher favorability makes you more inclined to help them or offer them better rewards for any quests they do for you. Lower favorability makes you less inclined to help or increases the price of any help that you offer.

3: Reach certain XP levels in order to upgrade the level of gear you're allowed to use. As an example (feel free to adjust however you see fit) you have to reach level 15 XP to be able to use leather gear. Level 30 unlocks iron. Level 45: enchantments on iron gear. Level 60 diamond gear. Level 75 enchantments on diamond gear. Another option might be to set the levels lower but if you die then you have to reach each level again to use the gear.

4: You have a pet that levels up with you over several episodes and through various quests. It starts out as a pig, then becomes a strider, then a lama, then a donkey, then a horse and finally a beautiful set of totally living symbiotic wings. In case of death or the wings getting destroyed, they require a certain period of time to grow back.

5: You require training montages to improve your weapon skills. You have to visit various masters and train under them in order to gain access to better and better weapons. A master may at any point after this require you to demonstrate your skills and should you fail their test they may revoke your permission to use their weapon. (Think both in terms of weapon material and in terms of enchantments.)

6: You require tools in order to craft more complex types of blocks or items. Basic items can be crafted before getting the tools. Tools are per type of block/item. Examples of types: wood, metal, stone, cloth, food, redstone, plants, etc. The tools can only be acquired through quests. (Obviously don't make this too ridiculous.)

Challenge proposal: you can only walk on human-placed blocks. You can imagine it like Floor is lava.

This way whereever you go there will be a pathtrail left behind.

i think itd be a last-resort sort of 'game' but having a small challenge where you could only eat foods in alphabetical order would be something. probably not something to base an entire episode around, but hey it would be something, at least.

Minigame idea: block party, break a chest, yours or whoevers. Whatever item ends up in your first slot is the item/block that has to be the focal point of a minibuild. Ideally in someone else's base. You're bringing the block party with you.

The name of your base should be something like "The Craic in the Ground" (Craic is an Irish term for a good time and it's pronounced crack)

If anyone can pull this off it’s Zedaph. Especially with the help of his community. They’re the actual best server for games and game inspiration.

What happened to your intro?!?!?!?!!? The beautiful jazz music has been cut!!!!!! I'm heartbroken, I hope this isn't permanent... (also, hypnotizd's also got a z in the name, but I think you and Skizz can just... Ignore that...)

Does anyone know why the player name tags are red instead of white?

Speaking from experience with making Ravine bases... go a little bit bigger... not too much but say like 10 blocks longer on each end and around 4 or 5 blocks wider. Trust me you'll love the extra space as ravine bases are usually a bit too cramped to fit loads of rooms and farms.
