This for me was the turning point in the show the real fuced up shit. Jesse never recovered from slavery. Hank was death forever what completely destroyed the family (at least what was left). And Walt realized that his actions destroyed countless lives

I watched all of BB recently in 2023, this episode was unreal.

Cannot believe I'm commenting on a BrBa edit but the cut from Jesse to Walt at 'I'm sorry' kind of pulled my heart out through my mouth and stomped it into the ground violently. Especially because Walter arguably did not feel 'sorry' - I'd argue that perhaps he did feel a bit of remorse; Walt audibly considered Jesse 'family', and the order for a hit on him whilst referring to him as such really hit home. But there's such an inherent betrayal to the audience, perhaps even Walt himself, as he says 'family is off limits' in regards to Hank. Makes me feel bad for Jesse and all the shit he went through when even the unspoken words to Jesse - "he's like family" - are shown as lies, being betrayed by Walt's future statements. It also definitely poses the question of whether or not Hank was 'off limits' because he was family or because Walter was too scared of being blamed for his death. A cynical part of me totally believes it's the latter.
