I really enjoy watching your videos and seeing all the progress that's made each week on your beautiful home!
ОтветитьSo you’re so far along now I wonder what next? Maybe raising your own little one in your new home.
ОтветитьThe plastered walls look amazing, I think a nice lime wash on them would go really well with the exposed stone walls ☺️
ОтветитьThe workmanship is just mine blowing. You would not find that level in the US. You are one lucky couple!❤
ОтветитьI can't tell you how impressed I am with the quality of the work that the masons are doing. And gee, if I could be reborn as one of your kitties, I would be in seventh heaven. Everything is looking fantastic both inside and out. I'm getting anxious to see it complete. That ole elephant is getting smaller and smaller.
ОтветитьRunning water sounds are always beautiful. But the plastering has its own rhythmic music. Really soothing, especially knowing it's the song of progression toward completion of your lovely magical mill home.
ОтветитьOh my those kitty cats are spoiled rotten, they landed in the right home.
Ответитьbravo! i/m loving this project! THE MILL what an t aventure you have brough us! thanks you for sharing... xx
ОтветитьFantastic progress! Brittany the is an Indian crystal called Apophyllite, that would look fantastic in that hole. You can actually peck away at them to get it to fit. They are not crazy expensive either. Apophyllite it in the Zoisite family of Indian minerals. I’m sure you will find them online.👍
ОтветитьWow! The guys have gotten so much done inside!! The archway is beautiful and a lovely way to enter your home!!
Love from Mary in SoOC💗
Progress is amazing
Ответитьyour masonry "help" can no longer claim to be proud Ukrainians. cowards is what they CAN claim and collaborators is what you can. It sickens me my wife is so loyal to y'all. but she's enamored with van life and that's where she picked up on you.
ОтветитьWith all that electrical running along the floor. I suspect you will be pouring the floor up another 4 to 5 inches.
ОтветитьDifferent topic! The concrete water tanks are beautiful just the way they are! There are several in my neighborhood that I have admired for years. Much more aesthetic than my plastic water tank! Painting concrete requires sealer/primer and multiple top coats, once painted means that you will always need to keep it painted. IMHO!
ОтветитьWow!! Definitely wow! 😎👍🏻
ОтветитьYou should get a compact tractor. My neighbor says he would marry his tractor if he could! They become indispensable on a homestead. All that heavy labor you guys are doing may seem admirable now, but in 30 years your body will scream at you! 🚜
ОтветитьFantastic progress, and what a skilled team of builders! What is the African music towards the end of the video?
ОтветитьI look forward to your videos more than anything else! I'm cheering you on! Its so amazing to see you go from vanlife to mill-life! Thank you!
Ответитьlove what you are both doing with the old mill its wonderful. also those cats are adorable, died and gone to heaven springs to mind as they have certainly landed on their feet. cant wait for the turret to be tackled as very interested in what you do as I suggested something and I'm very interested in the whole build. one more thing I wish I was as good as yoga as you but I'm much much older and not very bendy !! those were the days 🤣 good luck with it all and I follow with love and respect for you both xx
ОтветитьLove the new filming technique, too.
ОтветитьHey! What's the size of the property and the watermill? It's taking really good shape!
Ответить🦋 It’s so beautiful I can’t imagine what it must feel like for you guys seen the transformation of inside and you’ve kind of done it in reverse because you’ve taken care of so many things on the outside of it being nice that’s all done. It’s a wonderful place. We are going on now. I can’t wait to see how it’s all gonna end up. You are blessed.
ОтветитьThis project and your genius ideas is stunning! Those guys and all your workers are so talented too. ❤
Ответить❤❤❤❤❤ greetings from Viet Nam❤❤❤❤❤
Ответить3 Architecture fans in our house - we all vote for paint - there is such a beautiful contrast between the flat plaster so beautifully done and the Stone of the Mill it creates energy like a chord of music - plus the guys put so much love in to getting the plaster right it will feel like a hug just looking at it in years to come :o)
ОтветитьIt's looking amazing 👏! 😊❤
ОтветитьПередавайте привіт українцям, які у вас штукатурять стіни😉 👍🏻💪🏻🇺🇦
ОтветитьI vote for saving as much natural stone as possible… what a fun project, loving the process.
ОтветитьLittle by little! It's coming together. 🎉
Did you make sure the starlink cable is long enough for that tubing, and that the end plug will fit through it?
How exciting! It's all coming thru as your vision! Fantastic work!
ОтветитьSo fun to watch the transformation!! ❤
ОтветитьI love the vision you both have and the team of workers are so amazing, the Mill looks beautiful I cant believe how different it looks now. The arch is so nice it reminded me of the old palaces that have arches. I love that you are leaving some stone exposed but you are the builders are doing it in such an elegant way, so stunning. Brittany I love your curly hair and my you are so supple seeing all the moves you did near the stream incredible. The 3 cats spread out on the bed was so cute x
ОтветитьHey, if you haven't committed to painting the walls yet, I would suggest that instead of conventional paint, you consider using a lime ("cal") wash, which has several advantages over paint: it is breathable and so won't trap humidity behind it, which can lead to bubbling and flaking; it is clean and healthy (no weird synthetic chemicals); it inhibits mould growth as it is mineral and alkaline; it is a lot cheaper than synthetic paint; it is traditional. The main drawback is that it can rub off more easily than paint, however this can be minimised by adding a fixative agent to it (similar to white glue), which you can easily find in Portugal. Some people also add boiled linseed oil to it or animal fat to make it more resistant. You can also add mineral powders in various colours, such as blue, red, yellow, etc. if you want a coloured surface: people often do this for a pleasant and mellow pastel-like colour.
ОтветитьThose cats look so acceptingly trustful when they occupy your bed and chirp and stretch when you come to visit. It is a testimony to your love for them and their love for you. I am a cat person since age 3 and am old now. I love cats.
ОтветитьIt’s funny how fast your cats have become domesticated. The two of you have such a happy outlooks on life. I Love your channel. The water mill is looking amazing.
ОтветитьLove all the arch’s…. I see decorative painting on those doorways?… scrolls…. Yes even gemstones!!
ОтветитьI cannot imagine how beautiful this house is gonna be once it is done😊 the wall artwork is stunning ❤❤
ОтветитьI LOVE the exposed stonework!! Just don't forget to put a clear, vertical-friendly clear coat over it to really moisturize the stone and prevent any crumbling mishaps in the future! You can get some nice, natural finish clear coatings for masonry and stone
ОтветитьPlasterer’s are brilliant-sometimes you need a little bit of luck choosing quality tradespeople
ОтветитьI have a quick question do you need the same paperwork as as the first interview for visa interview in Portugal?
ОтветитьWow it is coming on fantastically, love all your ideas.
ОтветитьIf you go the painting rather than adobe, I'd look into limewash and other paints that let the cement/stone breathe
ОтветитьEver, you guys move the camper Van to the next part of your property?I just was wondering if you guys are still gonna plan on cleaning that utter mountain up when you move anything around
ОтветитьIs it cold there?
ОтветитьGood job❤😊
ОтветитьWe have a Bluetti in our campervan, its amazing when going off-grids, I make my smoothie every day on it. But I would love to have the solarpanels, but that is too expencive for us...sadly. Then we could freecamp more than we do 🙂
Love watching your videos, finding peace within my self , I looking forward to see how you will take the next step, interiours etc. I live in the cold north, and would really love some warmth in the wintertimes :-) So you make me dreaming, even I don't think I can handle the warm summertime though :-)
You guys are the cutest couple and you’re my favorite people renovating follow your dreams
ОтветитьThey put the Mexican Smackdown on that plaster It looks really nice
ОтветитьDONT BE AN IDIOIT ADD SCREEN DOORS FOR AAIR FLOW ALL YEA LONG REMEMBER SCREEN DOORS ALL OPENINGS
