I followed same steps but when i opened woW6432node then i saw only a file named microsoft & no other files where there in woW6432node and also there were no files under Microsoft...😅

For anybody having the same issue I had... I followed his instructions, but it still didn’t work. What I had to do was change where epic games was being downloaded for instance I switched it too my M drive instead of C drive. Then it works perfectly! Hope this helps someone out there 🖤
