I'm sorry, but, not updating his stream when he was "recovering" was clearly more than a mistake. The connection between him receiving donations and his being in a wheelchair cannot be ignored. Why in the world did it not occur to him to tell his audience when he was recovering. You're an absolute idiot to think it was a mere oversight by him to not to tell his audience he no longer needed a wheelchair. When people show regret AFTER they've been discovered, it makes their admission even less believable. Had he not been seen standing up and walking away from his wheelchair, would he have ever admitted to the "mistake"? We will never know.

Wheelchair use is very misunderstood by people. Not everyone in a wheelchair is completely unable to walk.
I have a damaged spinal cord, so I have problems with my mobility and dexterity. I use a quad stick, a 4wheel walker and a wheelchair, depending on where I am going. Around the house, I use the stick. I use my walker for short distances under 50m and my walker for distances over 50m. I can also drive my car.
When I get out of my wheelchair and put it on the bike rack to drive away, some people will make comments about how I am “not really disabled” because they think that a wheelchair means that a person cannot stand or walk. What they don’t see is that I am using my legs as much as I am able to prevent the muscles wasting away. They don’t see how much I suffer because of what I have lost. I will never ride a horse again. I can’t go to the beach and walk in the sand. If I swim in the surf alone I will likely drown. I have lost all sexual function completely and it’s hard to hold my coffee cup. I can’t write with a pen or type. I suck at video games now.
I can understand that the guy was temporarily disabled, but if he got better and pretended to still br disabled for financial gain, that is disgusting.

Him standing up isn't even necessarily suspicious. There are different times of wheelchair users - an ambulatory wheelchair user can stand up or walk for short periods. Not a lot of people know that and it can cause people to think someone is faking when they aren't. I do think he was temporarily disabled and he should've just said that. Instead, I think he didn't want to maybe lose views upon getting better so he just kept up appearances.

You know people who have wheelchairs can stand up. But it’s extremely painful and hard to do. My uncle has a infection in his knee (which makes him need a wheelchair) but he can stand up but very painful.
