Is flossing your teeth a waste of time?

When you floss, it's like getting in the shower, washing up, using soap and scrubbing your body, rinsing off and afterwards you look and feel clean... Floss people, seriously, food and plaque stick between your teeth all the time and my god can others smell it.

If ur gums bleed, that's an indication that you need to floss.

I didn't floss until 22 yrs old I never had any problems for lack of flossing but when I started I noticed food begin to stuck between my teeth and now I'm stucked to flossing, so if you never had a problem for not doing it I don't recommend you try!

Remember, the dentists make LESS MONEY when you floss so if a dentist is telling your to floss, it probably means there is some value to it.....

Everyday at night I floss, brush, and use a mouthwash. Do this exactly the same order and build up the habit. Now my floss don't have that bad smell anymore compared to the first time I started using one.

People want to use mouthwash,and then brush the teeth then that is good,but I will not suggest flossing!(It could be that flossing is bad for your gums?Being tied up,and trying to escape from those nice ropes that cause friction burn?)

Research actually shows that problems caused by flossing is not caused by flossing in principle, it is more that people do not floss properly and cause damage, the same goes for brushing.

haven't flossed in 5 years (or seen a dentist). Just use a natural alcohol mouth wash and flouride-free toothpaste. Strong white teeth, no bleeding/inflamed gums. No cavities either
