Electric scooter CRASH at crosswalk

That´s why i think people must have license to use electric scooter... here in Portugal i see kids playing around at the road and it´s dangerous for the kid and for the drivers because if a driver kills a kid... how the law acts? There´s no rules to use a electric scooter in here... something have to change before a fatality happens

I’m a food courier who rides a scooter in a constant busy city traffic on a daily basis, following and also respecting every single traffic rule there is. Seeing these people ignoring the traffic rules because they think they’re so privileged on the road just because they aren’t a car or a motorcycle/moped just sickens me. It makes us scooter riders look really bad🤕🤕

Most of these e-scooter drivers are hopeless imbeciles! In Germany they ride like coming straight out of a saloon, riding one scooter with two persons or some bad moves lead to accidents that can be dangerous for these nitwits! In other words: they ride with no respect and no awareness.

I don't know how the timings are on light changes in that country but it looks like the scooter guy got half way seeing his turned red and he rushed to cross over the road and the car saw him and knew the light was going to turn green soon so he accelerated knowing he would hit the guy because if that was a pedestrian crossing already on the road when the light went red surely there would be another several seconds before the vehicles could go on green giving time to finish crossing the road.... conclusion scooter guy 40% in the wrong and car 60%
