D: ASMR Immunity-or-How to get your tingle on again..

I used to get intense tingles and now I can only get tingles from real life interactions: like from beauty treatments or going to the doctor

Idk why, but if I run the gaps between my fingers through cold book pages I get so many tingles!

Amazing video! I've had trouble getting tingles for a while. I think it's because I'm too stressed and because of my SSRI withdrawal process. Even started my own ASMR channel but the tingles haven't returned. ASMR videos still relax me but no tingles. I know they will return, though.

I don't get asmr tingles anymore since the whole industry became professionalized- for me soft speaking used to give me tingles 20+ years ago before ASMR became a mainstream concept....now these super sensitive microphones pick up every gross wet mouth noise y'all make and people purposefully tapping and jittering their fingers on everything has activated some serious misophonia/misokinesia in me and I can't stand asmr anymore which is sad. I just go back to watching serious home shopping jewelry channels like when I was a kid.

Unintentional ASMR is still a good channel for anyone like me who has the same problems

it’s so funny, i haven’t had tingles in a few months so i came to this video and actually started getting some small tingles towards the end! also what you said about psychiatric medications impacting your asmr experience is very true. when i was taking a certain adhd medication last year my tingles were sooo intense and consistent and i never seemed to get desensitized, it was amazing. i had to stop the medication because it wasn’t working for what i needed, and i was so sad to lose the asmr side effect.

It’s been a year since i’ve never hear an Asmr but now when i hear my favourite asmr I can’t feel anything i tried so many people and tiggers but nothing changed

Everyone wants to get tingles but I only want to get rid of them, it's good to have some tingles sometimes, but when it goes to my left ear I get so many tingles that I just can't stop and try to sleep

You're probably right. Sometimes I've noticed that when I see someone new who does ASMR I get the tingles back, but not all the time.

Its very sad that I have tried to stay away from asmr videos for almost two years, still haven't get my tingles back..
