Never put a parrot on your shoulder. Or above your eye level. Makes them feel like alpha bird. In time they will decide they want your head off their perch ( your shoulder) and you will get hurt. Lose and eye, get a broken or torn nose, lose a chunk of cheek, a piece of ear. They will also bite your face walking around if they percieve danger to try to tell you to GO Hurry ! Danger!. My umbrella nipped my ear becayse a "MacAwe" got too close to us.

Omg she’s so sweet. My Goffin’s likes to beak my head and face too. He has gotten very close to my eyeball but he was seemingly trying to preen my eyelashes. He’s sooooo gentle. Cockatoo kissies are the best 🫶🏻🇨🇦
