3D printers: What you need to know

When my parents worked for intel in the 90s and early 2000s they had faucets that would spout liquid gold when the processors were made, they had a machine that would apply the metal with a device similar to a 3d printer. I don't know why they're not using these with metal yet, they have the technology. Think about it, if we use metal, we can make weapons n devices companies want to manufacture themselves so we pay them for those items. So this tech is probably being hindered artificially.
