All that time in the Baptist Church and Costner still doesn’t understand that no one but Christ is good enough to even stand before God. Whitney was indeed exceptionally talented and beautiful but only One was perfect…and it wasn’t her. God will not stand in awe of her.

She chose the wrong man, he chose the even worse woman, the golddigger he divorced recently. Now this is love, I remember the day I found out she passed. I was in the grocery store with my older sister (stop&shop) , that day I’d finally let my sister play in my hair. While walking around in the store I’d received a bunch of compliments on the style. There was one complaint that stood out the most. A older lady asked me where I got my hair done and I smiled and said my sister actually did it herself, the lady asked if she has a salon cause she was just taken back by the style. She said the hair style reminded her of Whitney Houston. 😅 At the time I blushed and felt amazing. We went on with our shopping and on the way home we turned on the radio and that’s when they announced her death. I was so hurt. I remember singing her songs in the car with my big sister when I was just a little girl. I never watched this cause I knew it would have me in my feelings. My heart. Choices are so important she is undoubtedly the best voice of all time , her music transcends race, religion, generation and there will never be another.
