Turning off hardware acceleration on notebooks is an unacceptable solution, my notebook can show about 2hrs of unaccelerated video before the battery is done and the CPU is ball burningly hot the whole time.

Firefox browser is the solution, it actually works and I can get 4-6hrs of video.

Google should be pilloried for making notebooks emit 3-4x more greenhouse gases with their shitty attitude to video acceleration.

Someone needs to calculte all the extra emissions and then seal up Google HQ permanently and feed it into the vents. They're killing the planet because its easier for them than fixing their broken code.

I just faced a black screen with tabs open when I was going to twitter or a page. So I did research, saw your vid and tried the hardware disabled-nothing yet, but thanks for advice. :) Also it won't harm anything in the function of chrome will it for disabling it?
