Going through trauma doesn’t always have to look like being abused by your parents or caregivers in any form, it can also be the lack of. Trauma can be what you needed growing up. It’s the little things that shape who we are as well. I would hope the love I pour into my future children will keep them away from getting plastic surgery done. I would hope

I’m from San Diego I remember seeing her a lot and the elephant man. They had a sadness in their eyes I could recognize even at my age. I was about 8/9 years old. My mom taught us not to stare. But I felt their sadness. 😢

She was married for over 10 years, she's entitled to her ex-husband's social security, and she wouldn't have had to work a day in her life to get that. Even if you did work, if you were married for 10 plus years if the spouse's or ex benefits are greater than yours, you are entitled to that and the other party can't do anything about that, it's policy.
I know someone who works at SSA that explained this to me.
