I Love these, lm never happy because it's raining songs 🙂
ОтветитьGreat quality, thanks so much for encoding and upping, @ScottishTeeVee 🙏 That outtro to Barbarism is superb! 🎉
(and thanks for making the tape donation, Gaz & Maggie)
Best band of all time? Maybe😌
Ответитьthe soundguy who mixed this performance should've gotten a nobel prize
Ответитьrip andy rourke.. what a badass bass line
Ответитьjohnny marr is a genius
ОтветитьMike Joyce's hi hat handspeed is mesmeric.
ОтветитьЭнди, вечная память
ОтветитьInsanely tight performance, the interplay between Andy Rourke’s bass and Marr’s guitar is spectacular
ОтветитьThe first few rows are so mesmerized they can't move.
A guy I worked with at a stereo store in Charlotte turned me on to them, and I was totally blown away. Unlike anything I'd ever heard. And the albums were so perfectly sequenced.
Does it get any better than The Smiths in 1984?
ОтветитьWouldve preferred this over later smiths shows....bow could you not boogie down on this?
ОтветитьThe Smiths were a great band like the Beatles a one in a billion coincidence of diffetent talents
ОтветитьThus band is just SO GOOD, every single peice of it!!! Gods!
ОтветитьMerci.
Ответитьneed the bass to be this loud
Ответитьyryshpeoplevoodoopeople
ОтветитьRip king rourke
ОтветитьR.I.P Andy Rourke
ОтветитьMorrisey's hair is a triumph all on its own
ОтветитьThe only thing I disliked about Morrisey was the gladioli p|$H
ОтветитьAhhhh the 80's, Ahhhh 'The Tube', Ahhhh 'The Smiths'.
I wouldn't change being in my 20's to any other decade. 🥳🎉🍾🎈
Best time to be young and alive ever
Brilliant! You forget how important Andy Rourke was to the sound. Shame Morrissey became such a cunt, crapping all over their legacy.
ОтветитьEsta epoca era hermosa porque habia grupos y tenian 7 discos para escuchar hoy no existe una carrera es todo efimero
Ответить53 and 40 years later this performance still has me blown away like it was yesterday, Morrissey, Marr, Andy and Mike are just so on point…R.I.P Andy Rourke ✌️
ОтветитьThere are bands where the bassist just follows the guitar and then there are bands were the basis it's playing a whole other song. The Smiths are the latter. Nirvana is both
ОтветитьMisprint. Relevent should be relevant.
ОтветитьThe most important thing to an artist is to be relevent.
ОтветитьAmazing performance and band, all four experts at their individual roles even when they were young in this film, bass just immaculate all the way through Barbarism
ОтветитьWay ahead of the game....to this day.
ОтветитьPerformance espetacular. A conjunção deles para esta banda foi o que fez os Smiths darem certo. Andy com suas linhas de baixo e os Smiths foram antes do tempo
ОтветитьAll 3 songs are soooo good 😭😭
ОтветитьLove how most the audience weren't there to see The Smiths and were completely oblivious to the brilliance they were witnessing..
Ответитьthis mf defiantly gay
Ответить40 years ago next year. Still pertinent today.
ОтветитьMozza The Uk🇬🇧 Pop Music 🎼 Godfather
ОтветитьMoz moves like he's about to fall everytime
ОтветитьA friend had a spare ticket to see The Smiths in 84 and as a hardcore punk I turned it down, one of my biggest regrets , as they became one of my favourite bands in later life.
ОтветитьA lot like Michael Stipe without Mike Pete and bill
ОтветитьSteven was a very lucky man to be surrounded with such greatness. He would have been nothing without Andy Jonny and Mike and never realised it.
ОтветитьGenuis + insiprational + kind = Andy Rourke. RIP and travel well. I will now have to secretly pray for something other then The Smiths reuinon.
ОтветитьBy the mid 80s metal at its peak along with new wave …… smiths / new order …… just an unimaginable time for music never to be repeated …
ОтветитьGood guitar playing. 🙂
ОтветитьLol how can you hear this music (or any music) and just stand there like a tree. 😂😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьMusic snobs: Bass player's who use a pick can't be funky
Andy Rourke: Hold my beer😎
Amazing love the dancing at the end
Ответитьahh , remember watching this when it was aired - was great . a few of the devotees really going for it in the audience with bunches of daffodils. Not too keen on Moz's new one "Oh why wont some one stop the boats ?"
